The following is a list of all buses purchased by the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) since the 30 January 1970 acquisition of the transit properties of the Philadelphia Suburban Transportation Company, commonly known as the Red Arrow Lines. Although SEPTA acquired Route 54, which operated into New Jersey, it did not acquire a Philadelphia to New York bus route, which was transferred to a subsidiary of Red Arrow, Garden State Coachways. There were three groups of buses leased by SEPTA:

• A group of 50 buses leased from the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) from 1979 to 1980 to relieve a bus shortage;
• Three Flxible Metro 30096-6T coaches (8742-8744; s/n HD098330-HD098332) leased from the Maryland Mass Transit Administration (MTA) in Baltimore; and
• Four Gillig Phantoms S50TD9630 coaches (447-450; s/n T1086211-T1086214) leased from the Delaware Transit Corporation (DART First State).

The buses leased from WMATA were assigned to Germantown Depot. The Maryland MTA and DART First State buses were used exclusively by the Trenton-Philadelphia Coach division based at SEPTA's Germantown Shops for use on the Route 310/Horsham Breeze.
