Resident Evil -CODE: Veronica- Enemies

Zombie
Zombie
In the midst of the air raid on Rockfort Island, the experimental T-virus was inadvertantly set loose, creating countless zombies and monsters. All of the prisoners, lab workers, soldiers, and other Umbrella Inc. personnel are now the living dead. The zombie, depending on what weapons you are using, can be a fairly easy enemy. You will take down most of the zombies thorughout the game with your handgun, but if you're running low on ammo, the combat knife works suprisingly well.

Cerberus
Cerberus
Another common Resident Evil enemy, the guard dogs on the island have been infected with the T-virus. The dogs, a fairly easy enemy, can prove though at times. The dogs tend to circle around you, before jumping at your throat. A new attack the dogs have include grabbing you by the wrist and trying to pull you over. Almost any weapon will take down these pups, but your best bet against 'em is your handgun.

Bat
Bats
A new addition to the Resident Evil series, the bats are basically a substitute for the crows. The bats are found in few places on the island and have the tendancy to attack you by clawing you. The easiest way to avoid the bats is to pull out your lighter whenever you encounter them; they hate the light!

Gulp Worm
Gulp Worm
Another new addition to the world of Survival Horror, you'll meet the Gulp Worm in front of the Military Training Facility early on in the game. The Gulp Worm is a huge mutated worm which travels underground at high speeds and tries to come up right underneath your feet. You'llbe able to tell where he is because a cloud of dirt will form where he is underground. A fairly easy enemy, this guy does end up taking someone's life later in the game...

Bandersnatch
Bandersnatch
An experiment gone-wrong, the Bandersnatch is a rather tough enemy. You'll first meet these guys in the Military Training Facility where you'll be forced to confront one on sight. The Bandersnatch has only one arm; but that arm has the ability to stretch like elastic, giving this guy the ability to hit you from long distances. Heavy artillery is reccomened when dealing with these guys. The Grenade Launcher sounds like it may be good...

Juvenile Albinoid
Juvenile Albinoid
You'll first meet this enemy when he breaks out of his holding tank in the Military Training Facility. The juvenile Albinoid is a very easy enemy and is only found once in the game when he breaks out of his tank. The juvenile Albinoid has the ability to deliver small electrical shocks which will momentairly stun your character. Just run from him.

Tyrant
Tyrant
During your escape from Rockfort Island, Alfred sets the Tyrant loose. You will fight the Tyrant two times during the game; Once on the path leading up to the palace, and once on the Seaplane. During the first fight, you will have to take the Tyrant down. He will not let you by, so you better hope you have some heavy artillery. The grenade launcher will probably be your best line of defense during this battle.

You will encounter this guy a second time on the seaplane. During this battle, you have no choice but to put an end to him once and for all. First of all, you'd better hope you have some explosive tipped bowgun arrows, as they are the most effective weapon you'll have in your inventory up to this point in the game. As the fight begins, unload your heaviest artillery on him and immediately hit the switch near the door to release the cargo crate. If you've completely weakened the Tyrant, the box will propel him out the back of the plane. If he pushes the box back, keep unloading everything you have on him and wait until the light relights; keep repeating this method until the box slams him out of the plane; an easy fight!

Moth
Moth
As you further explore Umbrella’s Antarctic Transport Terminal, you will discover a moth implanting a dead man with its embyos. More moths will later appear and though an easy enemy, they can be quite annoying. Moths tend to fly over you while spraying a poison-type dust which will immediately knock you into the “poison” status. Moths also have the ability to lay a coccoon on your back. The coccoon cannot be removed until it begins to hatch and your character rips the coccoon off their back. When a coccoon hatches on your back, it will immediately poison you, so don’t forget those blue herbs!

Nosferatu
"Nosferatu"
Once an employee of Umbrella, now one of Umbrella’s experiments gone-wrong. Nicknamed “Nosferatu” by other Umbrella employees, the existence of this creature is only a rumor amongst workers at the Antarctic facility. This man, once Alexander Ashford, was used as a test subject for the T-veronica virus by his own children, Alfred and Alexia. “Nosferatu” has a number of attacks including a deadly whip with his long appendage and a poison spray which cannot be cured unless you have a special serum. You will fight “Nosferatu” on the facility’s heliport area and he also has the ability to knock you off of the elevated helipad. Alfred’s sniper rifle will be the best weapon for this fight. Hey...what’s that in the middle of Nosferatu’s chest? A weak point maybe...?

Black Widow
Black Widow
Met in the latter half of the game, the Black Widow can prove to be a rather tough enemy. These guys are rather fast and have the ability to poison you with an acid spray. They also can run up and grab your character and bite them a few times before your character knocks them away. Heavy artillery is strongly reccomended when dealing with these guys, but if at all possible, just avoid them.

Small Spider
Small Spider
Only found during one part in the game, the small spiders are a very miniscule enemy. If you choose to fight the Giant Black Widow and you defeat it, its body will burst open and out come running lots of these little spiders. There's no need to even try to kill these guys as just walking on 'em will squash them like a, well, bug!

Hunter
Hunter
Another enemy met in the latter half of the game, the Hunters prove to be just as deadly as they did in the previous Evils'. You will first encounter the Hunter at the Turn Table Elevator area on Rockfort Island. The Hunters are quick, agile and very deadly. Powerful weapons are HIGHLY reccomended when dealing with these guys. Also, don't forget to keep clear of the spotters, their mechanical sidekicks...

Sweeper
Another version of the Hunter, the Sweeper has the same deadly attacks as the Hunter, but it's poisonous. One hit from the Sweeper is all it takes to send you plumetting into the "poison" status. Sweepers can be identified by their colorful bodies, and as with the Hunters, heavy artillery is highly reccomended when dealing with them.

Adult Albinoid
Adult Albinoid
Met earlier in the game, the seemingly harmless juvenile albinoid has now grown into an adult. When you meet this guy, he’ll be guarding the eagle plate which has fallen into the pool. The adult Albinoid has deadlier attacks including a burst of electricty which will electrify the entire pool. The easiest way to defeat this guy is to wait for him to swim towards the walkway you're on and then shoot him. Heavy artillery is highly reccomended when tangling with this guy.

Steve Monster
Sure, Steve was a jerk at first but he's now starting to grow on you; literally! After being caught by Alexia, she performed experiments on Steve. When you meet Steve, he will be tied down in the cell that previously held "Nosferatu." After your little chat with him, he'll begin to feel the first reactions from the experiment. Once Steve mutates, you're forced to confront him; don't fight! Steve is fast and 2 or 3 hits from his axe will leave you no chance. Instead of fighting, just run! Be sure you have some powerful healing items and as soon as you take a hit from Steve, immediately heal yourself. Once you make it through the gate and you're asfely away from Steve, it looks like the end...
Steve...

Alexia
Alexia
This is her in all her glory. After the unsuccessful experiment on her father, Alexia used herself as a test subject, injecting herself with the T-veronica virus. In order for the virus to be successful, she lay dormant in a liquid-filled capsule for 15 years. 15 years later, it's time to wake up. Alexia will be met in 3 forms throughout the game, each form having its own deadly attacks.

Alexia - 1st Mutation
You'll have to fight Alexia in her first mutation, pictured at the right. This fight will be tough if you don't have the right weapons to deal with her, say, the magnum sounds good! In her first form, Alexia can shoot jets of blood at you which will burst into flames shortly after contact with a hard surface. Also, keep clear of her! If you get too close to her, she'll grab you by the throat and burst your body into flames, an immediate death.

Alexia - 2nd Mutation
In her 2nd form, Alexia will appear as a big blob. You will be fighting her on a small platform, making this fight tough. Alexia has the ability to whip you with her long tentacles, spray you with acid, and send out little pods which will stab you with their single, razor-like tentacle. The easiest way to defeat her is to use your Submachine Guns.

Alexia - 3rd Mutation
After defeating her 2nd mutation, she detaches herself from her blob of a body. With little time left on the clock before self destruction of the facility occurs, you only have one objective now: eliminate Alexia. By now, the Linear Launcher has finished charging and is the one and only thing that will stop her for good. Alexia will fly around, trying to spray you with deadly jets of blood that burst into flames upon contact with anything. The Linear Launcher works the same way as the sniper rifle; use L1 to aim. Good Luck!
