Zembo Grown Up

Zembo had matured into a full-grown cat. The photos on this page were taken in 2003. Zembo was 5 years old. It's hard to believe how quickly time went by. We thought he'd live for fifteen years, but he died a month before his ninth birthday following an abrupt illness and hospitalization.

Zembo, the Cipher

Zembo at 5 sat comfortably atop his futon and surveyed his home. This was his throne, for he was most happy up here, surveying his world and looking down upon his less-lofty subjects, the humans.
