"Why am I so nervous?" Alexia asked as she paced around the room. "I have given press conferences before," she continued. Her hands were shaking and sweating, her throat was dry and her stomach was in a knot. "And now this stupid headache!" she said rubbing her temples.

"Alexia take a chill pill, you're giving yourself premature wrinkles," Brian said jokingly.

"What is so wrong with me B? I am acting like a child," she said as he hugged her.

"Maybe it's 'cause you really are a child in a woman's body."

"Brian!" she said sounding annoyed.

"Just relax, take deep breaths, OK," he said soothingly. "Oh and take these," he said showing her, her pills.

"No wonder I feel like crap I forgot to take my medicine," she said as she took them from his hand.

"Medicine? Are you sick babe?" AJ asked as he entered the room.

'No! he can't find out!' Alexia said to herself looking at Brian. "Well not really. I have a vitamin deficiency so if I don't take them I feel mopey, out of energy and just plain ugh all day," she said as she walked to the table in the back of the room.

"Oh," he said as he walked into the dressing room.

"Crap!" Alexia said out loud.

"Hey relax he doesn't know, he believed you, OK, everything is fine," Brian said trying to calm her down.

"I just want to stop lying to the world," she said as she leaned on the table.

"Actually you really didn't lie," he said rubbing her back gently.

"That's not working," Alexia said looking at him.

"Well how about this?" he said before making one of his famous Jim Carrey impressions.

"OK, OK that works," Alexia smiled hugging him.

"You know I am here for you babe, remember," he said softly.

"I know, thanks," she said as she kissed him lightly on the cheek.

"You know, I could get used to this," Brian said as he hugged her tighter.

"Brian!" she said punching him lightly.

"Hey it's not every day you get to hug the most beautiful woman in the world," he laughed lightly.

Nick walked in the lounge area just in time to see Alexia kissing Brian. He knew that it was just a friendly kiss, probably in gratitude but he still felt hurt betrayed. It was as someone had stabbed him from behind. He was jealous.

"Brian!" he yelled in an emotionless tone. Alexia and Brian looked up immediately at Nick's face that slowly grew with anger.

"Oh hey man," Brian said smiling.

"Hey Nick!" Alexia said as she walked over to him.

"Well I better go change, see ya," Brian said as Alexia hugged Nick.

"Hey what's wrong?" Alexia asked knowing something was bothering him.

"Nothing," he said with no expression on his facev looking down at the floor.

"Nick," she said grabbing his chin with her fingers so he would look at her.

"Something is wrong and I want to know what it is," she said pouting playfully at him.

"Its just that....when you kissed him, Brian , I felt like someone hit me right front and center making me lose my breath," Nick said lowering his tone of voice and looking at the floor. Alexia bit her lower lip trying not to laugh.

"You're jealous," she said softly as a smile slowly spread across her face. Nick just shrugged his shoulders. "You know the only reason you should be jealous is if we were doing something wrong, like this," she said before she kissed him passionately.

"Wow!" Nick said as their lips parted.

"But that isn't so wrong, right?" she laughed before he kissed her.

"My, my, my you leave you two alone for two seconds and you're already playing the hanky-panky game," AJ said as he walked into the room sipping a bottle of water. Alexia just rolled her eyes as they parted.

"Well who could resist this?!" Nick said jokingly.

"I could," she said as she walked away.

"Alexia!" he yelled as she continued walking. "Alexia!" he yelled out once more making her stop.

Alexia bit her upper lip. "Yes?" she said as she turned to look at him.

"Where are you going?" Nick asked as he started walking to her.

"Hair and make up," she said as she turned around and walked towards the exit.

"Miss Fernandez you are needed in hair, now," a young brunette said as she took Alexia's hand and yanked her out of the room.

"Thanks AJ," Nick said sitting in the nearest chair.

"I was just joking man," he said as he sat next to Nick.

"I know but…. God."

"What's up?" AJ asked as he saw the frustration in his friend's eyes.

"She is, I mean I know we haven't been 'us' for that long but she wants to keep our relationship a secret, she is always with Brian, she is hot one minute then cold the next," he said as he put his face in his hands. AJ just nodded his head smiling widely. "And, AJ you've had more relationships than I have, is it normal for the guy to say the 'l' word before she does?" Nick said looking up at Aj, who was trying his best to keep a straight face.

"So let me get this straight, she wants you two to work and keep the press as far away as possible, you're jealous that she spends time with Brian and you told her you love her, freaked her out, fixed it, and now you're worried because even though she shows it, she hasn't told you that she loves you, right?" AJ said leaning back in the chair smiling widely.

"Well, yes, but… I don't even know what I am talking about I mean I walk in the room and saw her hugging Brian and it hurt."

"Jealousy, now that is a problem, you should really get over it cause Alexia and Brian are just friends so relax, but remember that Alexia can't stand jealousy, so relax and take it slow. Oh and think before you act, k?" AJ said as he put his hand on Nick's shoulder to lift himself up.

"Thanks, man," Nick said looking up at AJ.

"Anytime, but I think if we don't hurry up we are going to get our behinds kicked by management," he said as he walked out of the room.

Nick nodded his head. "If only life was as simple as it sounds," he thought out loud as he followed AJ to wardrobe.

"So what's the story?" Sofia, Alexia's personal assistant, asked.

"On?" Alexia said as she stared into the large mirror.

" Now don't you dare play mind games with me, you and blondie back there," she said scribbling something on a note pad.

"Well to tell you the truth, I have no idea, I mean I like him a lot, and we are going out but by the way he is behaving my conclusion is," Alexia pause and turned to look at her.

"Bed?" Sofia asked

"I'm afraid so."

"Well between us I personally think he is a hottie," Sofia said with a laugh.

"Yeah he is, and he is sweet, kind, sensitive, cute, I don't think he would like the adjectives I'm using," Alexia laughed. "So what's my day like?" she continued as she was attacked by the blow dryer.

"Well after the press conference, lunch with Big Mouth, after that it's the whole afternoon at the recording studio, and then I believe you have the night off, unless you had other plans," Sofia smiled as she looked up from the large black agenda.

"Ha ha very funny, so lunch is with the partners or just my cousin?" Alexia asked as the make up artist eyelined her left eye.

"I believe that would be both. Oh, by the way Almudena wants to meet blondie so why don't you take him," she smiled slyly.

"Hey Al, we have ten minutes," Kevin said as he walked by.

"Thanks Kev!" Alexia yelled back.

"Never mix business and pleasure," she said as she got up from the chair.

"Then, what, may I ask, are you doing?" Sofia shot back.

"You know I can fire you!" Alexia raised her finger.

"Sorry, you couldn't survive with out me, hun," Sofia said annoying the hell out of Alexia, because she was right.

Alexia emerged from the dressing room wearing skintight black capri pants and a light green tee shirt. As she looked up she found five different set of eyes staring at her she searched for the eyes that screamed love and made eye contact with him, realizing she was staring at Brian she immediately looked away.

"Alexia if you don't hurry up I am going to beat you up with a stick," Sofia said as she grabbed Alexia's wrist and made her move. Away from Nick, they were frozen in front of each other, paralyzed.

"Nick, Nick, hello earth to Nick," Howie said as he lightly hit Nick in the back of his head.

"Wha, what, yeah I am Nick," he said waking from the trance.

"That's good to know buddy, but we have to do this now. Later you can search for your alter ego like AJ did," Kevin said as he walked into the room where the press conference was being held.

"Hey beautiful, the press conference is this way," Brian said as he met Alexia frozen at the entrance. Alexia gave him a fake smile and walked away.

"What happened?"

"What do you mean?"

"You seem cold."

"Leo called just now," she said walking away catching Nick's eye.

"So what is going to change now that Alexia is coming into the picture?" one of the reporters asked as flashes of light came from the back of the room.

"Well during tour time we are going to have to say good bye to the walking in the nude on the bus," Brian joked noticing Alexia's sadness. She looked up from her bottle of water and smiled for the first time. "No I am kidding, well we have a new and very strong voice to add and this will help us to grow even more musically," he continued.

"We also have a new view on life, when we write songs it was only one side of the story, now we have the two," Kevin continued.

"Style!" AJ pointed out her incredibly stylish outfit.

"Alexia, what do you think you'll change?" another reporter asked. Alexia looked up and immediately was attacked by camera flashes. She rolled her eyes and smiled meekly.

"We'll change something, don't think I will change that much. I mean maybe, like Kevin said, the songs I mean we all have different inpute on life so when we put it on paper and then add some music to it may indeed sound different but it may not, so I don't think I will change that much," Alexia said as she tapped her fingers nervously.

"Rumor is that love has blossomed" another reporter said quickly.

Alexia laughed nervously and was about to speak when she was cut off. "No, just friendship," Nick smiled as he looked at Alexia from the corner of his eye.

"But didn't you, Alexia, say not long ago that you were dating Mr. Carter?" another interrupted their secret gaze.

"You can't leave that subject alone for one second, right? Well we were on a date that night but if my memory serves me I was also on a date with the other four guys, it was actually so we could get to know each other, and you all piss the hell out of me," Alexia smiled hypocritically.

"And what happened with you and Matt?"

"That is off the subject."

"And what about Leo?"

"That is also off the subject," Alexia said rolling her eyes. Suddenly Nick took Alexia's hand underneath the table making her feel better.
