"Cat, what are you doing here?" Alexia asked, stunned to see her friend.
"What can't I have dinner and watch a couple movies?" she smirked.
"Hey Cat, AJ," Brian said as he walked up behind Alexia and hugged her.
"Get your dirty paws of my girl," Nick said as he walked towards them. Immediatly Brian threw his arms up and walked backwards making everyone laugh.
"Well, are we going to stand in the doorway all night or are you going to invite us in?" AJ said looking at Nick.
"So Ale, what was it like growing up in mexico?" Kevin asked as the whole group was watching TV.
"Yeah, I mean, we went there when we were on tour. It seems like a great place to live," Brian said looking down at her who was sitting on the floor.
"Well, it is very different from the life people live here in the states," she said picking up her feet and crossing them Indian style.
"What do you mean?" AJ asked as he looked away from the TV screen.
"Well, I was, how can I put this?...Little Miss rich bitch. I had everything anyone would want," she said looking at her feet. 'I hope they don't think I am snobbish,' she thought to herself as she started to play with her shoelace.
"Well, answer me this, why don't you look Mexican?" Nick said as he moved his arm that was hugging Alexia.
"Maybe 'cause you have a very narrow view of life," she smiled teasingly.
"No really, why?" Nick asked.
"So you want to know where I got my blue eyes and light skin? Well not all Mexicans have tanned skin, black hair, and dark eyes as most Americans believe," she smiled widely. "The fact is most of my friends looked like you, blond hair, blue eyes. We drove cars not donkeys; I was what you call a socialite. My purpose in life was find someone with a better name than mine, marry him, and start the cycle once more," she said getting a very uncomfortable feeling in her stomach, not wanting to sound arrogant, knowing that she had led an arrogant childhood.
"I know this is very interesting and all, but can we please change the subject? I've heard this story more times than anyone can imagine," Cat said, seeing how uncomfortable Alexia looked.
'Thank you!' Alexia mouthed discretely to Cat, as the guys agreed to watch the movie.
Cat walked into the kitchen finding all the guys standing around.
"Hey," she said as she looked for the trash can.
"Hey," they all said in unison. Nick looked at her as she walked around the unfamiliar white and green kitchen.
"What?" she asked as she looked up to find a pair of eyes staring.
"Nothing, the trash is here," nick smiled as he opened a door.
"Thanks I was going insane with this, but that is not what I was asking," she said as she crossed her arms in front of her body. "So what's bugging you guys?" she said leaning on the counter.
"Did we say something?" AJ asked braking away from the group.
"No, why?"
"Well Alexia, she has been acting kinda distant, weird," Brian continued the thought.
"You didn't say anything, it's that she feels weird," she said looking down at the floor.
"Weird, about what?" Kevin asked as he opened a small bottle of Evian water.
"Alexia doesn't like to talk about her childhood; she just doesn't like to say that she had everything up to the right name and gave it all up to become an actress. People in the media always give her a hard time because of it, they could give a hoot about her talent," Cat smiled strangely with her arms across her chest. "In my opinion the people can stick it," she continued as she walked into the living room to find Alexia sleeping on the couch.
Alexia slowly opened her eyes to find two beautiful, deep blue eyes looking at her. She smiled at her self, knowing who they belonged to.
"How long have you been there?" she asked as she turned to lie on her side.
"Long enough to realize that I am the luckiest guy in the world," Nick said as he look down at a note pad he had in his hands.
Noticing that Nick was playing with something, she instantly became curious. "What are you doing?" she asked stretching her neck.
"Nothing," he said grinning as his hands continued to move.
"Sorry, buster, but you ARE doing something," she said emphasizing the word "are". She slowly got up, and as she sat up her tee shirt moved upwards revealing her belly button.
Nick looked up and laughed, "You're an innie!" He laughed lightly.
"What?" Alexia said as she looked down. "That is not funny!"
"It's cute," Nick said looking back down.
"OK Mr.! Now that is getting very annoying, you either tell me what you're doing or I am going to-" Alexia paused not able to think of anything to do to him.
"Do what?" he immediately smirked at her.
"Well," she said as she jumped up from the couch and disappeared through the door.
Nick immediately hid what he was doing underneath the couch and tore off a piece of paper, and followed her. "Alexia, this is the oldest trick in the book, where are you?" he said as he looked around the darkened patio. He walked to the edge of the pool, stopping he laughed. "If you think that I am going fall for this you are wrong," he said as he turned to find her standing behind him.
"FALL, for what?" she smirked.
"I know what you're thinking," he said.
"And that would be?" she said as she moved closer.
"I am guessing it involves this pool, me and a small factor called falling in."
"Well are you going to show me what you were doing or not?"
"No," he said crossing his arms across his chest and taking a step back.
"Then so be it!" She put her small hands on his chest and smiled slyly.
"Bye, bye Nick," she said before she pushed him. But as he lost his balance he grabbed her arm and pulled her in with him. "Nick, no..." Alexia yelled as she fell into the pool following Nick.
As Alexia emerged gasping for air, she found a laughing blond boy.
"Oh so you think this is funny?" she said as she dunked his head. Alexia swam to the edge as Nick came up to the surface.
"Oh no you don't," Nick said as he grabbed her leg and pulled her back.
"Nick, let me go," she said as he hugged her.
"I like this, you and me alone," he smiled widely at her.
"Well I think I probably might do this," she smirked.
"Hey, that hurts," he said trying to hide his smile.
"Well maybe I could get used to it," she said as she put her head on his shoulder. Nick walked around the pool carrying Alexia in his arms.
"So you're going to tell me?" Alexia moved and managed to face him.
"No."
"Fine then," she pouted as she splashed him.
"Alexia don't even get me started," he picked her up and dropped her. As she came up once again, she started splashing water at him.
"Stop, I give up," Nick said.
"I don't think so," she said as she continued to splash water at him.
"So you want it that way," he yelled as he started to fight back. After about five minutes of splashing water she felt a tug that pulled her under water. She felt two arms embrace her and she suddenly felt as if she was being kissed and smiled. She slowly gave in and floated to the surface hitting her head lightly at the edge of the pool. She laughed as she opened her eyes.
"I was drawing you," Nick finally confessed. "I wanted to keep you with me always."
"See was that so hard?" she laughed. Nick tilted his head slightly and kissed her again as he smiled.
"God, you're amazing," Alexia smiled.
"I love you," he continued making Alexia jump.
