.:Back To Your Heart-Chapter 3:.
Chapter Three

"We have to come up with a date, you know, for our wedding," Brian said thoughtfully.

"Yeah, now we can choose any day we want!"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, Brian, I don't think you and Kevin wanted to have back-to-back weddings, did you?"

"That's true. I didn't even think of that. I can't believe they broke it off. How do you think they spent their first day as being not engaged again?"

"I don't know, but back to a wedding date..."

"Have any ideas?"

"I don't know..."

"I think we should have it in June sometime," Brian suggested.

"K, but why June?"

"Because it's bright and sunny and warm outside, so we could have an outdoor wedding, and something very important happened in my life in June '97, hint, hint!"

"What was that? I don't remember anything!"

"That was when we met," Brian said sadly.

"I know, I was teasing you, geez!!!"

"Oh, okay," Brian said and gave a short laugh.

"You're waaaaay too gullible!" Leighanne said, laughing.

"Don't you dare laugh at me!" Brian said, trying to keep a straight face.

"Oh, sweetie, believe me, I was laughing WITH you," Leighanne said.

"I sensed some sarcasm in that!"

"So?"

"So, I love you,"

"And I love you, and you know that, and THAT is why we are getting married which brings us back to what day we should have the wedding."

"Man, Leigh, you're all business today, aren't ya?"

"You're so strange."

"You betta believe it, sister!!"

"Yeah, whatever you say! No, of course I don't think you're insane. Why would I think that?!"

"And I'm the strange one when you're having a conversation with yourself?" Brian asked increduously.

"I'm sick of this!"

"Of what? Of me?"

"Oh, God no, Bri, not you!" Leighanne replied and immeadiately grabbed his hand in hers.

"Then what?"

"Planning this wedding and sitting here inside when it's so nice outside."

"Oh, man, I wanna go outside now!" Brian whined.

"Let's go!" Leighanne said excitedly.

She pushed her chair back from the kitchen table and quickly stood up, still holding Brian's hand. She dragged Brian to his feet and the two went outside to take a walk at the park a couple blocks away.
