"Thank you so much for the wonderful emails you all have sent to me.
All of your information is very very helpful. I keep telling this disease I am not going down easy, dang it.
You all will help me through it and I appreciate it sooooo much more than you could ever know."

Welcome to the PAN group. You have found one of the best sources for information on vasculitis.
The people here have probably been through every feeling and problem that you are now encountering.
It's also an excellent resource for the researcher or medical specialist."

You have found the best site if you have Polyarteritis Nodosa. Remember fear will only control what you let it. It has been a great resource and support to know others feel and go through similar things as I. Quite a comfort to come in here and talk and have my questions be answered. I was diagnosed in Feb. 2003 and I'm doing great. . The road ahead will only give you insight so climb aboard and join us as we move forward together.

Every day you will be thankful that you found this group - the people here all share their PAN experiences and you realize that even tho no one else in your town has PAN, these folks can pretty much relate to what you are experiencing and feeling now.

This support group is truly a Godsend - blessing, helping & touching PAN sufferers, their familes & friends (as well as doctors & researchers) all over the world.
Thank You, Ed, and every one who is a part of this group, for your courage & encouragement in the face of such a devastating illness.
My thoughts & prayers go out to all of you as we continue the fight to understand & conquer a common enemy.

I went to the main PAN site and read the stories to my husband who is a PAN patient.
It was unbelievable how much I could see in his face.but I could just hug everyone of you for what you did for Allen tonight."

After only one day of posting in this forum I am overwelmed by the love and support of people I have never had the privelage to have met, who are willing to share their experiences, it has certainly given me a more positive outlook towards life for the future.

"My attitude has really turned around since I found the group. My family is happy and supportive for finding an organization such as yours. I don't feel like an outsider anymore."

Before this, I had never had any health problems, not even a broken bone. This was a big adjustment for me, and as a minister I'm usually the one people come to for help. I wasn't used to getting support from others. This group has helped me immensely by being here for me to talk to, ask questions, and to remind me that I'm not alone in this battle.

Like others have said, I'm sorry if you needed to find this group. But you have found a good one, for both support and info.
I've been in this group for 4 years. People have helped me so much.
Linda (RN and PAN patient.)
