Dear Mrs…um…Sir…ah…Your Honor the Justicar,
Ok, I went to that place, you know, the place where’s there’s all that loud noise and stuff, and there’s that guy who had on the shirt that looked like chain-mail but not really and everyone said he was a flamer, but he wasn’t on fire or nothin’. There were a lot of people there, and they were all bein’ weird and like that. I had to go around and do that trick where no one can see me, ‘cept I tripped over some guy and then fell and everyone saw me.
That guy Kyle was there, and he was makin’ sure that nobody had a sword. Also the Prince-man and his wife, the lady from Gaul, were there too. I found the Tremere person who works for you, and told her about that guy who’s not all the way dead in the closet in the basement at the orphanage. She got all upset, but that guy with the hair talked to her and told her all what happened, ‘cause he was there.
A lot of stuff was goin’ on, and I got scared and wanted to go back to York, but everybody keeps telling me that I’m wrong and it’s not 1180 and that I’m somewhere else, but I think that I’m in that place where spice comes from, and Anya and Alex and Brother Belemonte and Lord Carlos are here too, but they got lost. All the people were yelling ‘bout how the minstrels weren’t playing what they wanted to hear, but I know that it’s magic music, ‘cause that’s what Josie told me.
There was this guy who had a thing wrong with him so he needed a magic stick to walk with, and he knew a lot about everything, but not all of it ‘cause he was wrong ‘bout that symbol that Anya has, but I didn’t tell him that, on account of he’s real mean and he’d yell at me. He wanted to know a whole lot ‘bout those people that everyone was real ‘fraid of, you know, those guys, the Knights Templar, and he says that they’re not there anymore, and neither is the Church, so I don’t have to worry ‘bout bein’ inquestioned. I think he’s wrong, ‘cause the Church is always there watching.
Everybody was talkin’ ‘bout everybody else, someone told me that the Prince-man made a Lupine into a vampire, but he said he didn’t. Also people were saying that the lady from Gaul, you know, that lady who’s always bein’ kissed by the Prince, that she’s sleeping with all these people, and someone else says that Larcen’s gay. I don’t think I understand that right. All around there were things, you know, stuff that was about all the Kindred, things that they did that was bad and stuff.
No one there knew Lord Carlos or Anya or Alex, and only a few knew the clan that Brother Belemonte’s in, and they say that they’re all gone forever, but I know that they’re wrong. That guy, you know, Josie’s lover, he and all his guys were doing all this stuff and then we all had to have swords so that they couldn’t kill the Prince-man. A lot of people also had these things, they looked like little machines and that guy with the hair said that one could kill somebody.
Then the guy with the magic stick and the guy that bothers Josie and Kyle went into a little room with the Prince-man, and we were all thinking that he’s gonna kill him, but no one said that, they just thought it really loud. After a long time all we did was sit there and say how ‘bout those guys, and everyone wanted to go home and feed and stuff. But they say that we’re fine ‘cause we’re Camerilla, and they say that I get to be too.
See, I came from the orphanage by myself ‘cause Josie’s really sick. That guy with the stuff on his face, you know, Bastian, he went out early to play music, and Kyle didn’t take Josie with him, and Josie’s mom is gone and when I asked her ‘bout her she started to cry and ran away. That guys who’s guarding the guy in the closet, he tried to make her feel better, but when he put his hand on her shoulder, Josie got sick. I hope she doesn’t have the plague.
When those guys came out of the little room, they and a lot of other people went into a different little room to talk again. Oh yeah, before that happened, there was this guy that was one of Kyle’s guys, and he killed a Ghoul that belonged to Trent, and he was very sad. See, Anya taught me how to tell when bad things are happening, ‘cause all the important and powerful people go away and hide and stuff.
Anyway, when they all came out, the guy with the limp and the magic stick took away everybody’s sword and little machine and he looked and them and they got wrecked. The Prince-man says that guy is the sheriff now, and we if we have weapons or if we sneak around and no one can see us, then we’ll get killed by him. Kyle is the Seneschal, and that Tremere lady who works for you is the Keeper of Elyseium. Then the Prince-man yelled at us to go home, and we did.
When I got back to the orphanage, I told Josie and that guy all what happened, and they called Josie’s mom who’s far away to tell her too, ‘cause she wanted to talk to her. So, um, that’s all the stuff that went on, but no one was really all busting out to tell me what went on with that almost-dead guy, so I guess I didn’t do a very goo job of finding out stuff for you.
K, so when you come, now you know what’s going on in the city. I keep asking Josie to call that guy that she knows ‘cause he might know my friends, but keeps saying that she doesn’t have enough time. She sings a lot. Um…do you think that Anya and Lord Carlos are gonna come back and find me? They’re my best friends even though everybody says that their clan is bad. Anyway, that’s the end of my thing, you know, report.
