Compessor Woods 3845 New Fire Forged Compressor drivers incorporate a patented technology that helps stabilize the shell of the body and restricts any flexure in the clubhead to the face providing a very responsive impact.

At impact, all drivers experience a bowing effect on the crown, caused by the compression of the ball upon the face. The crown bows upward as a result of impact energy. The compressor internal stabilizing structure resists flexure in the crown and sole, and redirects the impact energy back to the ball.

12,500 torque pounds lock the compressor device into a state of suspension to restrict all body bowing and to firm up its support function to the face. This restricts all impact flexure to the face, which generates increased ball velocity over conventional driver architecture.
