SNAKE EYES VIPER TI STEEL
Viper fairway wood heads have gone through a dramatic upgrade to produce a hot, powerful driver from new super-strength Carpenter Tour Alloy 275™. This is a premium precipitated-hardened steel is nearly twice the strength of commonly used 17-4 stainless steel. The nearly 2% content of Titanium and 10% content of nickel combine to deliver the powerful feel and sound of the Viper Ti-Steel. Newly developed plasma welding creates a much finer, consistently thin welding bead around the face allowing for higher C.O.R. (USGA conforming) over a larger area of the face. The special plasma welding technique also allows for a more consistent molecular structure by keeping the heat from the weld concentrated on the very outer edge of the face. The crystal mirror-polished sole with glass bead blasted accents finished with a deep metallic blue head paint make this Viper Ti-Steel look as good as it performs. Matching Viper Ti-Steel fairway woods (#SE3511) are available.
