gotta pee
Mood:  accident prone
Now Playing: ER
Topic: Minda's entries
so this'll be short, because i've gotta pee, and i'm standing at the portal at work before i have to go back from break. i have to drink more than a gallon of water a day and it's killing me. i always thought the reason pregnant people have to pee a lot was because the baby's head is pushing against their blatter. now i know.

work is really hard right now, but it's definitely getting better with every call. well, almost every call. sometimes they're jerks. oh well, it's for that one time i called in and was really mad at sprint. did you know that when you sign a cellphone contract, that it says that they never guarantee you service at anytime, ANYWHERE? it's crazy. they're definitely butt-covered. colby's getting his little a/d d/a converter tomorrow for his stuuuuudio. it's our first real purchase towards it (by real i mean costing more than a grand). so we're REALLY excited about that. can't wait to have our own little money maker/stress generator and not have to answer to the boss and the client at the same time. that's all for now!

"Breaded Veal Cutlett" and "Freedom Waffles"
Mood:  a-ok
Now Playing: booty music--not by choice, but not so bad
Topic: Minda's entries
we ate at Wienerschnitzel tonight (translation above). i've never eaten there before, never wanted to eat there before. i had a italian sausage hotdog, and a chili cheese hotdog. i'm almost to the point of shame here, but why? see, that's the cool thing about being quasi-grown up. you make you're own money, and you buy whatever you want to buy(that you can afford). it's your choice. i realized this when we were walking past the freezer section and i saw toaster waffles with blueberries in them a few months ago, and i said to colby, "Do you like those?" he said he did, but neither of us grew up having them in the house, so it had never occured to us to buy them. i always wanted them as a kid, but i couldn't have any because my parents paid for the groceries. now we buy them all the time, not necessarily because they're the best thing in the world to eat in the morning, but because we can. because they symbolize something bigger, something better, something about responsibility, liberty, and the american eagle, that escapes me right now. we should call them freedom waffles.

FINISHED WITH TRAINING!
Mood:  bright
Now Playing: Loosy-ana fella complainin' 'bout his phone
Topic: Minda's entries
i just made a 100% on my last training test for cingular customer service (there are 7). monday we start "transition", where we're in a little area and answering phones, but there are more people around to answer our questions. not so looking forward to that. there are so many programs i have to have up at once to see all the parts of their account. i just hope i can remember everything about the 15 windows i have up on my monitor when people are yelling at me.

we're trying to pick out a doctor. really really stressful. colby called a few people this morning/afternoon, and the first one, that our general dr. refered us to, scheduled us an appointment for when i'm already 12 WEEKS pregnant. i know they probably don't need to check me up or whatever til then, but i have just a *few* questions, if you know what i mean. like eleventybillion. AND she said i wouldn't see her until later on, but the nurse instead, and then, if she's not available to see me when i make my appt., then there are other doctors there i can see, which would help when she's possibly too busy to actually deliver the baby, and then the other doctor can deliver it, and i can already be aquainted with him/her. if she's too busy for me, (i was napping when colby called, or i would have told her this right then) then why doesn't she just say so, and i can take my money and firstborn somewhere else. the next lady (i'd rather have a woman ob-gyn, but apparently so does every other mother, but there aren't as many women as men-- on my insurance list anyway) said the hospital fee would be 5 to 8 thousand, and the dr. visits with the sonograms and other tests would be about 4500. we have insurance, it covers 70%. but still. and colby still needs a studio. women used to have babies in the bathtub, and the solution to every problem was "bring hot water". not that i want that, but at least it fits my budget.
