Ok people, now we've decided that Orc and Elf will be our races
for next age. I've come up with certain guidelines which you guys could
follow. For the Elf's that we're going to have, I've come up with T/M
strats for you'll for Elf/Mystic.
Firstly: Our Kingdom Goal
So far, we have never aimed for anything in particular so I think its
about time that we started to! I feel that rather than going for honor
of networth, we should go for War Wins!
Secondly: Races & Personalities
*^Orcs^*:
Now, the advantage of being Orc, is the population bonus. You could keep
a sizeable amount of defence and still have a good offence (elites for
offence) cause Orc elites are really good for attacking. Plus, Orc's have
BloodLust! Use BloodLust together with fanatism and you'll increase your
offence tremendously! The low thievery and magic effectiveness of Orc's
wouldn't matter much, cause T/M's would be virtually scared of beating
you for the fear that you might whack them. Plus, with a kingdom with
a lot of Orc's there would be just too many of us to take out! :P For
the personality, I'd say Shepard. Reason being, shepards have low honor
losses. This would further put away the urge for T/M's to OP us cause
they wouldn't gain much honor! Plus, shepards have a low decay rate of
sciences, food and runes! This could really help cause we could keep a
low amount of farms (7%), and it would still be enough!
**Province Strats for Orc**
To start off our early war wins, it is important that we war OOP. For
this, I say, we Orc's should all explore to 400 acres and stop! Start
off by accelerate building 20 hospitals. Then accelerate construct 25%
banks. Keep a high no. of armouries:at least 25% (29% max) Train your
specs only 24hrs before OOP (when all your armouries should be built).
You should be able to have about 1.5k* defence specs by OOP (actually,
around 1.6k). Then, train 90* thieves. These could be used for some defence
and for stealing. Next, train offence specs. By OOP you should have 2k*
(actually, 2.1k) offence specs as well as the 1k defence specs in training.
You have to log in at least 3 times a day for this to happen! More times
would be better. I think that barracks in the beginning of the age is
not that necessary. Therefore for our first war I don't think that we
should keep barracks. Instead, keep armouries! This would also facilitate
an elite pump after our first war.
For the draft, keep it at 63%. No attacker should keep his draft below
60%!!! Because Orc's have -1 Happiness level, it is important that we
don't drop their happiness further. Therefore no draft above 65%! Keep
your watchtowers at 5% and guilds at 10% for some T/M defence.
*(these are all real figures. I've tried this on Utopia Prophet and actually
achieved more!)
*^Elfs^*
Elfs are probably the best race to be when one is a T/M. They have magic
effectiveness and if you're a rogue, you could be a killer T/M. Plus,
Elf's are able to cast self spells on fellow kingdom mates. This could
really help us as most of us are going to be Orcs and will not be able
to cast spells easily. In order to be a good Elf T/M, it is important
that you have the right start to the age. If you're not a mystic, then
you have to keep a constant high number of guilds to keep your WPA up.
Elf's have the best offensive spell of all: Meteor Showers. This spell
must be used on every enemy attacker during hostile and war. For the personality,
I'd say: Rogue. Simply because you can be both a good thief as well as
a good mage if you're a rogue. If you choose mystic, you could be a great
mage, but you wouldn't have the best thievery OP's as a rogue has. But
many of you guys want to be Elf/Mystic, so I've prepared an OOP strat
for you'll.
**Province Strats for Elf**
Well, since we're warring OOP, you guys should explore to 500 acres and
stop! Start off by accelerate building 25 hospitals. Then accelerate 25%
banks (then build another 5% banks at normal cost). Keep a high no. of
armouries: at least 25% (29% max). Train only defence specs and only 24
hrs before OOP when all your armouries should be built. You should be
able to have 3.5k* defence specs by OOP with another 600 in training.
Then train 490 thieves. These are vital for use in our OOP war. Cast 'Inspire
Army' and 'Patriotism' whenever you can so that you'll enter OOP more
powerful. Once OOP, you'll have a sizeable amount of defence so explore
as much as you can during the hostile period. You have to log in at least
3 times a day in order to achieve these figures! More would be better.
We will be going into a short elite pump after our first war. Probably
through a fake war, so keep your armouries so that you can pump elites
then. Don't raze them yet. The ideal draft rate you should keep for the
beginning part of the age is 63%. This won't affect your happiness as
your peasants will still remain 'Happy". You may want to raze a few
banks and convert them to watchtowers for the first war.
*(these are all real figures. I've tried this on Utopia Prophet and actually
achieved more!)
Thirdly: Elite Pump
As we will be keeping our armouries high for our first war, we should
start pumping elites as soon as our first war is over! By then, we should
be about 800 acres. We shall wait for 4 days after the start of our elite
pump before we war again. For an elite pump, drop your draft rate to 60%,
raise your banks to 25% at least, and try to get the logout bonus. For
Undeads, cast tree of gold with all the runes you have...It really helps.
If all goes well, you should be able to train more than 1.1k elites every
24 hrs. Stop pumping at 4-5k elites. This is when we shall have our second
war. (5 days after the first war) Remember, convert all your offence specs
into Elites before you touch your defence specs. At the second war, (when
hostility is declared) raze 15% of your armouries and convert them to
barracks. They should be ready be the war.
