"Rules of the Ring"
 | Sites must be San Francisco Bay Area related that are suitable for family viewing (no adult content). |
| No "pop-ups" when visiting your homepage. These are browser windows that open usually displaying advertising, and are used at Tripod, Geocities, etc. If your site has these, you'll need to move to another service provider that does not force you to display them. If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're probably OK! |
| The Ringmaster reserves the right to pull your site or refuse admission to the ring for any reason, especially if your site is deemed as not pertinent or offensive. |
| Not all San Francisco sites will be added, due to the quality restrictions of this ring. Read our "great site" section to get an idea on what sites qualify. |
| Sites must be in English or have a link to an English-Translation clearly visible on the same page as the Web Ring navigation table. |
How to join the San Francisco Web Ring
1) Make a copy of the picture in the white box below. Click with the right mouse button and then select Save Picture As, then name it "sfwrlogo.gif". Put it on your own server - don't link it to mine! If you won't put the logo on your server, please don't join the ring.

2) Fill out the form below, then click "submit site". You will be emailed a site ID which you should write down along with your password. Use them if you need to change details about your entry, e.g. if your move web sites or your email address has changed. The password is made up by you, it can be anything you like. The email will also contain an HTML fragment to put on your home page. Once the fragment has been added, the Ringmaster will evaluate your site, and if everything's okay, your site will be added to the ring. (if you have any problems or questions, please feel free to email the Ringmaster). That's it!
