Recovered Memory a Pandoras Box?

16 reasons why I do not believe in recovered memory

revised May 18, 2011

"Woe to the rebellious children, saith the Lord, that take counsel, but not of me; and that cover with a cover, but not of my spirit, that they may add sin to sin." Isaiah 30:1

The bell is tolling for the demise of recovered memory therapy. However those caught in the recovered memory cult have stopped their ears. They have shut their eyes.

They prefer delusion to truth, which if received by them would set them free. Questionable vile memories, when part of a continuing process will always result in emotional instability rather than wholeness or good mental health. The therapists have lied about the need for their clients to get worse so that they can get better. That makes them neither experts or professionals.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee!
--John Donne--

"The fathers have eaten sour grapes and their children's teeth are set on edge...ye shall not...use this proverb in Israel." Ezekiel 18:2-3

Does Truth Matter?

"That this is a rebellious people, lying children, children that will not hear the law of the Lord."
Isaiah 30:9
