Mabon

Also know as: Autumn Equnox, Alban Elfed, Winter Finding, & Alban Elved.

Usually celebrated late september.

This is the second harvest festival. Associiated with the taking of the corn and other harvest foods. Cornbread cakes and cider are an excellent addition to the festivities.
This is a good time to harvest herbs, as the first frosts are soon to come.

Household decorations could include Paraffin leaves (leaves diped in melted paraffin and put on wax paper to dry). They can be put in decorative jars with a sigil of protection carved lightly in the wax. This could be done on some or all of the leaves.
Candles you might want to use could be brown, orange, gold or red, colours of the season. Altar cloth made from an autumn prints and designs are nice.
Now would be a good time to empower river and stream stones that were gathered over the summer. They can be empowered for many uses.
