It is believed that there was once a strange mutation in dragons forming a rare species. The first of these was born like any other dragon. There was once a clutch of dragons that were soon expected to hatch. Everything was perfectly on schedule, and each was born right on time. One dragon, named Dlaendor, however, soon shed his wings and grew strange hair on his head and on the tip of his tail. While the other dragons had drastic progress in their growth stages, Dlaendor looked much the same, with major differences only in size. When they all became adults, he found himself to be the only one of his family who could not breathe fire. Sad and depressed he wandered from clan to clan hoping to find others of his kind. After about two years he had extremely good luck. He came upon a group of clans that hunted together, and one of each of the clans gave birth to the same creature as Dlaendor. It was discovered that all six of the clans had ingested a strange form of Kalla known as Tocola which had caused the unusual offspring. Afraid of what other strange mutations might occur, they all agreed that it would be best to destroy all of the Tocola on the planet. After searching all of the plant Hypron for this plant to make sure none existed, the Kallanai finally settled down in the planet's main country of Hyperia. Unable to fly and breathe fire, they were not very good hunters, so they became herbivores and feasted on the Kalla which was found around the edges of the mystical waterfalls found in the region, which is how their species got their name. Though the original six died a few hundred years ago, their descendants still live in the meadows and valleys near the waterfalls of Hyperia. However, there has become a shortage in Kalla, and so there is the risk of the Kallanai becoming extinct. The elders of the Kalanai got together and decided it might be helpful if some Kallanai went to live with others that might be able to provide for the Kallanai. These caretakers are greatly needed, and it would be appreciated if you could provide a good home and food for one or more of the Kallanai.
