As Yet Untitled - Installment #3

Is That Your Brother Making Out With Mine?

Scott was lying down on the bed next to Dave's eating Chee-tos and watching a soap opera when Clint kicked open the door with a last puff of adrenaline and dropped a bleeding and unconscious Bob onto the pristine linoleum floor. Gasping for breath and leaning heavily against the door, Clint turned to Scott and spoke. "Do you have any idea how heavy he is? He must weigh like 90 pounds!"

Scott gave him a funny look. "He probably weighs closer to 120 pounds or more. You probably weigh more than he does."

Clint waved a hand around erratically. "So?" Scott chewed for a moment. "So you should have no problem carrying him unless you're really a puny wimp."

Clint waved his hand again. "And?"

Scott shook his head. "Shut up, will ya? Call the nurse over quickly so I can finish watching 'Ex-Wives and Uzies'. You know its my favorite soap."

Kicking Bob aside, Clint hopped on the bed next to Scott. "'Ex-Wives and Uzies'? Oh! This is the last episode! How did I let myself miss it?" He grabbed a Chee-to and proceeded to let the television absorb him.

Moments later, Bob woke up in pain. He vocalized it loudly enough to pull his brothers from the television. They promptly threw Chee-tos at him. All the ensuing commotion woke Dave up who joined in the fight with the ice in the bucket on his bedside table. When the floor and Bob were littered with all of the Chee-tos and ice, Dave pressed the call button for the nurse. "Dude. I was having such a great dream about 'Ex-Wives and Uzies' and oh my gosh! It's on! This is my favorite soap and isn't this the final episode? Dude!"

Bob groaned and pulled himself up off of the floor. While brushing the Chee-tos off himself, he spoke. "Oh yeah. This was on yesterday. See, this is what happens. Joanie and Chad are going to get married. But, Britney, Joanie's former siamese twin who was in love with Chad, made them drive off a cliff because she didn't want her sister to have the love of her life. Because the cliff was so far away from where they were driving, the police investigated. They thought that it was Jack, Chad's half-brother who loved Joanie. But they couldn't find enough evidence to convict him. Later on, Jack married Britney and finds out when she's talking in her sleep that she killed the true love of his life and his half-brother. So, he turns her in to the police and they get divorced. Then, Jack gets married to his maid who he was having an affair with when he was married to Britney and she tries to run off with the pool guy but Jack trips the pool guy into the pool and he drowns because even though he was a pool guy, he didn't know how to swim."

Scott, Clint and Dave all glared at him. Bob shrugged. "It's not like I told you about the plot for the spin-off series, 'Tire Irons and Battle Axes'."

The other guys nodded. Eventually the nurse came in, bandaged up Dave and Bob and they all decided to go clubbing that night. After getting dressed, they grabbed their fake IDs, told their parents they were going to see a movie and headed off.

Once inside the bar, after having to bribe the door guy with $100, they split up. Bob saw a pinball machine that he couldn't resist. Scott and Dave headed off toward the stage. Clint was bored already, so he went to the bar and ordered a dry martini. Just as his drink arrived, so did a gorgeous girl. After checking his hair in the glinting surface of the peanut bowl, he turned to her as she ordered a Coke. "Hi there. What's your name?"

She looked into his eyes for a moment, then smiled. "I'm Aspen Davenport."

"I'm Clint Moffatt."

"So I noticed. Are you here with your brothers?"

Thinking that maybe he wouldn't have a chance with her if she liked one of his brothers better, he lied. "No. They're all back at the hotel, I think." He stopped himself before he automatically invited her back there.

"Ah. Well, I'm here with mine. That's him over in the corner." She pointed to a tall, handsome guy with broad shoulders who was kissing someone with shoulder-length hair and a Roots shirt.

Clint could only stare for a moment and didn't believe his eyes. He knew that Bob wasn't like that. Was he? He pushed the thought out of his mind in order to concentrate on the beautiful woman in front of him who was currently sucking on her straw like a pro. He silently wished that in his next life he could be a straw for a girl like her. Then he realized she was expecting a response. "Oh, um... do you tongue as well as he does?"

She laughed. "Actually, better. But, tell me something... Is that your brother making out with mine?"

Clint's face fell. "Well, yeah. It sure looks that way, doesn't it?"

She laughed melodically and he wanted to kiss her, but refrained. "Oh, please. Introduce me? Stephen knows him now, but not enough that he can say, 'Hey Aspie, this is Bob.' Oh, please?"

Knowing he'd regret it, Clint got up from his stool and helped her down from hers. "Sure. And, y'know, maybe my other brothers came in as well. Want to meet them too?"

She let out a little squeal that he found adorable. "Yes."

He led her over to the corner where'd he seen their brothers. Seeing that the two guys were no longer connected by the lip, he tapped Bob on the shoulder. "Hey, Bob, this is Aspen. She's the sister of the guy who were just lip-locking with."

Bob's eyes went wide, but he shook her hand and mumbled a few incoherant phrases. "Um, yeah. Well, Clint... You told me to find myself a guy here. So, I did. C'mon, Clint. He's cute!"

The guy to his left smiled and spoke in a calm voice. "Well, thank you. Hi there, Clint, I'm Stephen."

Clint smiled a tiny bit. He liked the guy, but hated him too. After all, he was making out with his brother. "So Aspen here told me. Now, if you'll excuse me, I think I see Scott and Dave so I'll go introduce her."

Aspen smiled, kissed her brother on the cheek and whispered, "Now, be good," and walked off with Clint.

Actually spotting Scott and Dave, Clint led Aspen over with an arm around her waist. He sat her down on the couch across from the pair and introduced her. "Aspen, this is Scott and this is Dave. Guys, this is Aspen. Isn't she cute?"

Scott hesitantly smiled. "Yeah. She is."

Dave had a much wider grin that was immediate. "Oh, yeah. Clint, man, can I have her? I'll give you all the money in my trust fund."

But it was too late for Clint. Aspen had already sidled her way over to the other couch and had her legs crossed toward Dave. Clint decided that he didn't want any of the other girls in the place, so he decided to go home. "Y'know, guys, I think I had too much to drink. I'm going to go ahead and go back to the hotel."

Scott jumped up from his seat. "I'll go with you. I don't want you walking the streets alone."

Smiling and bidding their adieus, the pair walking off purposefully. But their forward march didn't stop Scott from seeing Bob take Stephen's tongue down his throat and it didn't stop him from being turned on by it.
