Our Equipment!

 Three Main Vechicles

Three of our rescue vechicles.

crash 130

Crash 130, our newest unit, is our primary rescue vechicle. This is a Ford F-450, with a gross vechicle weight of 15,500. The body was custom built to specifications which we determained would best suit our needs. The 14 foot body was built by Rawson-Hoeing company and has compartments which hold our equipment with the least amount of wasted space.

Hospital Wing Air Ambulance

This is our 1986 Suburban, used to tow the boats to water searches. Also in the picture is Hospital Wing Air Ambulance, one of two air ambulance services in our service area.

Suburban

We also use this for a command unit. We also have a 1979 covered utility truck as our primary water rescue unit. This unit transports outboard motors, drags, sonar equipment, fuel and other miscellenous gear. (Not pictured)

Two BLS units

At the present time, we have a Type I 1991 Ford Ambulance and a 1981 Type II ambulance. Both are licensed as an Enhanced Basic Life Support (EBLS) units. These are used to back up the local Advanced Life Support (ALS) services and used for stand-by's at community events.
