"It was a lot more than just the lyric content I think, we could actually see the story take place" his sweat drips from under his black mask, which he doesn't even really notice. "We could actually play out the characters parts and situations, giving more intensity and depth to the performance as well as the lyric content"
And you worked upon the same idea for the AOK's storyline?
"Well yes, we all three did" he gives credit to his team again. "We are a great team and it makes us an incredible musical force in unity, but one person could drag the whole thing down in a second"
He bring up the member rotation during the first four and a half years. "If some one quits you start all over again, that's why Snake plays the bass now" he smiles again, "And to tell the truth, he's the best bassist we have had to date"
A point all three members agree on, which is why they have not auditioned for the spot in years. "Why would we gamble, if we have a safe bet"
Did the characters from the Balance influence the three Agents?
"Yes very much so, they all where extensions of ourselves more than the Balance characters were though" he starts shifting as he thinks. "But in the end I would say it is the Agent characters that are shaping everything in the project, period"
Why would you say that?
"Because the AOK characters where written more around the performers, especially X" he continues to fidget and shift some more. "I put so much of myself into him, it is emotionally wearing at times more than anything, even in a black leather suit under beaming stage lights?"
So you take this personal?
"F*$% yeah I do, all of us do" he get excited with the subject. "Even the people who just come and watch start taking it personal too" he goes from intense to the smile again, "That is what I love about our music and our fans, they really do believe in us and they let us know it"
The response of the AOK is continuing to grow, why do you think that is?
One night at this bar we had a doorman turn away people from one of our shows, mainly because the opening band sucked" he stops after realizing how it sounded. "Well to put it more accurately they were inexperienced, but that is what they were getting" he smiles feeling he had rectified the earlier comment.
"I wasn't in my outfit and was mingling up front and just watched, even though I wanted to slug the kid and his two friends" he rubs his right fist into his left palm to show a visual example. "But the fans still came, even though we lost about 80% of what we would of pulled" he shakes his head.
"And in between our two sets the two kid's friends came up and told us how much they loved our act" he continues with the usual smile of victory. "I could tell they felt like dicks, as soon as they realized I was the guy that stood out front and watch them flush our paycheck down the tubes"
"The exact quote was" he announces like a news reporter doing an update. "You are the real deal in Rock and Roll entertainment"
