A little about myself - If you care to know

Let me provide a brief description about myself, shall I? I am Zain Abdullah, was born on August 14, 1971 in Terengganu, Malaysia. I am working but not in anything to do with arts and graphics. Doing all these graphic stuffs is just my pastime. I love drawing since I was a little boy. In those days whenever I found blank papers and with a pen or pencil in my hand I would start drawing anything I felt like drawing.

As I grow older I am more inclined to draw figures and portraits. Capturing people's expressions and action to be illustrated on paper is so fun to me. I remember one famous Canadian artist Bernard Poullin said "Every artist can draw smile but only good ones can potray happiness". I hope I can be the latter some day. :) Apart from drawing and doing computer graphics, I like to read especially novels, essays, biographies and magazines preferably on current issues. Watching movies and listening to music especially jazz and instrumental songs are also stuffs that I indulge in.

Doesn't black 'n white photo look classic? I think so that's I why rendered my photo black and white as well as scan lines which is becoming hip nowadays. To make it more classic I chose rusty texture to frame it up. Classic enough isn't it?? It is just for fun :))

Now I work and live in Seremban, a rapidly developing town just about 70km to the south of the capital Kuala Lumpur and several km away from the new shiny KL International Airport.

Okay folks, I guess that's all I need to tell about myself. As the saying goes familiarity breeds contempt. I don't know how true it is but at least it justifies my brief description about myself here, doesn't it?

I never forget my friends, somehow or other we do need friends as no man's an island (Nothing to do with Lee Kuan Yew's biography though). Let me thank all my friends, whether those knowing me personally in the flesh and my friends that I first knew through the Net for, well, for being my friends. They are a bunch of great people that I have a privilege to know.
