In older days, a great hall was the hub of hospitality. There was always a dish to be eaten and entertainment to offer.
Today, however, entertaining has become much more difficult. With friends scattered from San Francisco to Dublin, and plenty in between, even the most legendary hospitality can become a bit strained.
So, here is my universal Great Hall. You're welcome to sit and eat, talk or watch the show.
