Tay opened his eyes.
"Hey Taylor." I said. "How are you? Are you okay?"
Taylor moved his head up and down a little bit and then looked like he was in pain.
"Oh.. I'm sorry!! Oh my god... Did I do that?" I said in a hysterical voice.
The normal look went back into his face and I relaxed.
The doctor walked into the room "I have some good news and some Bad news..." he said. "May I speak to you outside Sophia and Mrs. Hanson?"
"Of course." Diana said.
"Bad news first" I said.
"I'm not sure you want to hear it yet... Let me give you the good news... Taylor's leg is healing nicely, we wont need to put bolts into his ankle, which will spare him a lot less pain and you guys a few less bucks."
"Thats good... Now can we hear the bad news?" I asked impatiently.
"Taylor will have to stay at the hopsital until his spine fully recovered, which will be at least 5 weeks."
"You can't be serious..." I said, trailing off.
"Unfortunatly I am...And also, I don't know if I should tell you this...there's a slight chance Taylor could walk again. A small chance, like 1 out of a million, no, more like a billion... that he could be able to walk and It's his spine that's holding him back... That chance will grow if he is here until his spine is fixed..."
"Alright..." Diana said.
"I give you the go... It's fine..." I said, with a tear in my eye.
"Alright, we'll start physical therapy on Monday." He walked away.
"You go home Sophia, Take a good long bath and sleep..." Diana said
"I can't leave him." I replied.
"I'll be here.." Diana said.
"Alright." I said
I walked down the hall after I kissed Taylor's hand.
I stepped into the elevator and pushed the button. I began to cry... things were going so wrong... Why had god put all this on me?...
