Trillium Fridgie (Ontario's Official Flower)

These are so quick and easy, you can make a bunch with a very small amount of yarn in less than an hour!

You will need:

White worsted weight yarn
Green worsted weight yarn (I used moss green)
Tiny amount of yellow worsted weight yarn
G Crochet Hook
Yarn needle for weaving ends and attaching pieces

NOTE: Make one green piece and one white piece for each flower.

To make each piece:

Loosely chain 2. Make 15 hdc in second ch from hook, join to top of first hdc.

Chain 1, hdc in same stitch as joining, dc in next stitch, (tc, ch 2, sl st in sec ch from hook, tc) in next stitch, dc in next stitch, (hdc, ch 1, sl stitch) in next stitch. Slip stitch in next stitch. Repeat from * twice more, and at the end of the second time, pull thru and finish off but do not slip stitch again.

Using small amount of yellow, make 3 or 4 French Knots in the very center of the white piece. Place one green piece on back and one white piece on front, with the green leaves showing between the white petals as in diagram. Securely sew together thru all layers with white yarn, making sure to carefully hide all stitches. Glue a strong magnet on the back.
