AGREEMENT BETWEEN SUBJECT AND VERB!!!!!!

Verbs should always agree with the subject in number and person.

Correct- I see

Incorrect- I sees

Most of us automatically use the correct form of the verb to go with the subject, but we sometimes have trouble making verbs agree with their subjects in number. Here are just a few main points to watch out for :)

Sometimes errors occur when something comes between a subject and its verb. When writing you should not allow an intervening singular noun affect the agreement between a plural subject and it's verb.

Far below, a landscape of rolling brown hills and small trees lies in disharmony with the grim structures of steel and cement.

Each of the poems has certain striking qualities.

Neither of the men was willing to volunteer.
