IT'S NOT ABOUT 'BEING'...IT'S WHO YOU ARE!!!
What does it mean to be a Phi Sig? To some, ot means friends with whom to share social or philanthropic activities. To others, it means leadership opportunities at a chapter or national level. Whatever the meaning, being a sister of Phi Sigma Sigma is a privilege each of us is fortunate to share. But as with any privilege in life, Being a Phi Sig also means responsibility. The privilege is one we promised ourselves during our first ritual ceremony, one which we must take to heart.
Phi Sigma Sigma membership includes the development and enhancement of each member. The advancement of womanhood through a close union of congenial friends of high character and intelligence is the basis of Phi Sigma Sigma membership. The opportunities that Phi Sigma Sigma sorority affiliation can offer a woman are immeasurable.
Each Phi Sig has the responsibility to promote sisterhood and encourage each sister to reach her full potential. The greatest thing you can do for another person is awaken the latent powers within her. It is our responsibility as members of Phi Sig to help our sisters build their own strenghts and to aim high!!!
