CASSIUS EDWARD "CASH" MAITLEN'S parents JOHN DAVID MAITLEN, SR and his future wife ELIZA JANE HOWLAND ran in the Land Run of 1889.

John David and Eliza Jane married - March 5 or 13, 1895 at Perry, OK Territory.

Cash, the great-great-great-great grandson of  William Fiers, Sr and Lucy (Lawrence) Fiers was born December 16, 1899 near Guthrie, Logan County, Oklahoma Territory.

 
In 1900 Cassius, with his parents and siblings lived at Logan Co, Antelope twp and 1910 Payne County Indian twp Section.

October of 1903 the family moved to Cushing, OK.

On January 9, 1927 Cassius Edward "Cash" Maitlen married Grace Gee, a kind and gentle lady.

The farm has remained in the family since that time, with Cash and then later Cash and Grace's son Gene owning it. Gene's son Randy with wife Mary and their family now live on the farm.
