Fade Away
If I could just fade away...
birds could sing each morning,
children would have laughter in the air,
storms would not come without warning,
lovers could be together without a care,
The sun would shine and make a warm bright day,
flowers could once again bloom,
puppies and kittens would run and play,
so many lives could go on not facing doom,
no hearts being put through any test,
there would be peace,
souls could rest,
if i could just release,
and just fade away!
that would be best!
