I Drift along merely exisiting
An empty shell day after day
Needing, wanting, longing but resisting
Hoping, wishing, believing your headed my way
I search many arms for just that right pair
Some hold too tight
Others seem more like air
None feeling just right
Days grow into years
I find hearts that end up cold
I fight to stay strong not giving into my fears
Knowing someone wont push away my hold
I want to scream but quietly utter

So the heart thats meant hears and no other
