London Zoo

In case it's not clear, the sign above the cage here says "The most destructive animal in the world." It's the human exhibit.

The aquarium here featured a litter exhibit -empty crisp packets, bottles, cans, in a fish tank. The London Zoo is a leader in conservation efforts, and has saved several species of fish and reptiles from extinction.

The monkeys were really fun and really cute. Unfortunately I didn't get too many good pictures of them. This particular monkey was only two years old and he was still being weaned by his mother. At one monkey cage, we watched a mother comforting her day-old baby.

This monkey ran all around the cage, I suppose in search of the best spot for his meal. He's eating a spring onion.

This gorilla was so amazing. We watched him for about ten minutes. He watched us back. He looked incredibly bored.

I can't remember the name of this bird, but he was just pacing through the cage, with some nesting in his mouth. We didn't stick around to see why.
