- Really Works but my screw up the game if you catch him
First you must already have gotten to Cinnabar in the game, if you have then fly to Viridian City and Talk to guy who tells you how to catch a pokemon when he asks you if your in a hurry press "No" and then he shows you how to catch a Pokemon then right away you fly back to Cinnabar island and go all the way to the right on the coast and swim along it (you might want to bring pokedolls there are level 150 zubats) then after a while the screen will go blank for a while then you see a MisingNo. if you catch him he might screw up the game but if you run then whatever is in the sixth place of your items will be duplicated up to like 300, but instead of a number there just a weird looking thing
Great Balls act as Master Balls:
As soon as you throw your Great Ball, hold Up + B. This trick may now work all the time.
PokeBalls Shut Tighter:
As soon as the Pokémon goes in the Ball, hold A and the Ball will shut tighter.
Secret Coins:
First, go to Celadon city anyway you like and go to the Game Corner. Go in to the Game corner and then move one square at a timeand stop at each one. After you stop at one press "A" do this all over and you find about 150 coins! Also, if you want to buy a Pokémon without losing coins first go get how many coins neccesary for the Pokémon you want. Then go to the place next door to the game corner and talk to one of the windows to get to the list of Tm's or Pékemon. Click on the one you want while pressing B and you will get the item or Pokemon you want free!
Fight Safari Zone Pokémon Outside:
To fight and capture Safari Zone Pokemon outside of the park, first go into the park. Let the time run out when you're standing in a patch of grass which holds the Pokemon you want to catch. Step back outside and use FLY to Fly back to Cinnabar Island. Using SURF, surf up and down the right side of the shoreline, where you are half on shore and half in the water. You should then enter some battles with Safari Zone Pokemon! No more bait or rocks! It's sleep and Psybeam time! This also works with other areas of the game. Experiment and see what happens!
Catch Missingno., #000:
***MAY MESS UP GAME***
First have a Pokémon with surf and surf up and down the coast of Cinnabar Islands. Eventually you might fight called Missingno.. its pretty crap but does lots of damage but is easy to kill. it looks like a mass of dots flying around. just throw balls at it to catch it. Be warned, having this pokemon can crash your game and stuff up the graphics (all your pokemon and the enemy ones can get all warped). it is number 000 in the pokedex and doesnt havent an entry. it has a high attack but all its other stats are really low. It may also screw up your game. If you dont want to risk your game don't catch it.
Harder Hits:
When your Pokémon attacks, hold A and your Pokémon's attack will be more powerful!
Get a Diploma:
After you've caught all 150 Pokémon, go to the Mansion in Celadon City. On the floor with the computers, talk to the guy who's not on a computer and he'll give you a diploma!
Get Mew, #151:
1. Get a Pokémon from a friend or whoever that has surf, and then one with strength. Get the S.S. Ticket then go to Vermilion City, flash the ticket to the person, DO NOT GO ON. Surf to the right and then you'll come to an island. Use strength to move the thing blocking your way and pick up the ball that holds Mew! The S.S. Anne trick works for some games but if it doesn't go into the cinnebar mansion building and read all the diarys in order then after using itemfinder all over the building and finding the mist stone use max repel and Mew will appear!
2. Mew (Japanese version)
If you have Japanese and if you got all 150 pokemon and you have beat Elite 4, go to Celadon Mansion and talk to the guy who is not on the computer.He will give you Mew.(only in Japanese version).In the American version, he will give you a diploma.
Duplicate Items:
Talk to that Weedle guy in Viridian City then fly to Cinnabar. Surf up and down the coast till you run into a Missingno. or an 'M. Defeat or run from them. The item in your 6th postition will have like 129 of them! The 9 is actually 29, after 0 it goes to 99. This is a great trick for Rare Candies, Master Balls and Nugget.
Standing on the Tree:
This is a silly cheat. First, cut the tree, then stand on the area where the tree is. Save your game and turn your game off. Turn your game on again. You will see your body is on the tree.
Pokemon Hall of Fame:
If you want to stay in the Hall of Fame, just beat Elite 4. 30 times without turning your games off. If you beat Elite 4, 100 times, you can get HM 06(blast). If you have this HM, you can go to the grass area in the side of Pallet Town. In the Pokemon Hall of Fame, you can trade a bad pokemon for a rare pokemon, like Pidgey for Mew.
Secret Office:
This cheat is really hard and you have to be in time. First go to Power Plant. Fight with Voltorb and after you fight with Voltorb, quickly check the rock in the Power Plant, because you can go through one of the rock and the rock is changing every time, so it could be any rock. You can only go through to that rock in 10 second. After you go through one of the rock, the game will send you to Secret Office. In Secret Office, you can find a pokeball and inside the pokeball is Pikablu. You will see a hole too. If you go to the hole, the game will send you to the grass area in the side of Pallet Town.
SUPER POWERED RYDON:
1)Go to viridian city and go to the guy who tells you how to catch a weedle. When he asks you are you busy say "Yes", then talk to him again and say, "No". After he shows you how to catch a pokemon, fly to cinnibar island.
2)Surf along the right side of cinnibar so that you are half in the water and half on land. Then fight and capture a "MISSINGNO." (level 138 works the best. level 138 are actually stronger than level 146)
3)Go to your box on the Pc and deposit one of you pokemon and then hit "Withdrraw Pokemon" choose "MISSIGNO." (like have 6 pokemon with you so "MISSIGNO." is tranported to a box and then deposit one and continue code.)(BUT DON'T ACTUALLY WITHRAW HIM) if you tap the button once you will have a menu saying "Withdraw, Stats, and Cancel" Look at the stats twice before withdrawing again. NOTE: now you can teach your new "MISSINGNO./Rydon" all of Rydons attacks, tms, and the game WON'T glitch durring battle. Also, Rydon will stil know water gun water gun and sky attack. Which can be taught normally. (I'm not sure if you have to give "MISSINGO." , a grass pokemon nickname.)
RYDON OVER LEVEL 100:
1)Refer to the code below about unlimited items. If it doesn't work for you for some reason simply kill a "MISSINGNO." After you have infinate rare candies by using the code bring "MISSINGNO./Rydon" up to level 192 (if you have caught one at level 138) NOTE: Unlike any other pokemon over level 100, your new rydon will NOT go down to level 100 after a battle, if you raise your "MISSINGNO./Rydon" above level 192 however, it WILL go back down to level 192 after a battle. Also you can give rydon ALOT of HP UP's, Carbos, Calcium, etc..
INFINITE HEALTH:
1)Take your new rydon using codes above, or any pokemon over level 100 that you find on the coast of cinnibar. For "MISSINGO./Rydon" raise its level to 192 but not over 255 (level 215 works well) using rare candies. For other pokemon over level 100 use rare candies to raise its level to about 150.
2)Get into a battle and carefully lower its life to about 25. (Your pokemon MUST be poisoned.) When its your turn donot atttack. Instead play the pokeflute continustly. Once your life is about 25 win the battle, it will say you grew to either level 100 or level 192 (for rydon). However scince your health wne below 0 after it does this lowering or raising of the levels the game will mess up and make your life bar get HUGE and your life will now be MAXIMUM out of this HUGE bar. NOTE: If you go to a pokemon center and heal Rydon the infinite health will go down to what it regularly should be. And it will also freeze, if you use a potion or healing device so dont use any. You can ONLY use "Full Heal" to get health and unpoisoned and etc.. also you should get unlimited Max elixers to restore your PP. Also if your life bar goes down, it will automatically go up when it reaches the half way point.
Catch a Trainer:
To catch trainers: go talk to a tranier for instance Giovanni, beat the trainer then surf along the coast of cinnabar island.(the right coast) within 10 minutes, u should see a maiising no. at leval 0. catch him and beat the elite 4 6 times. go back to cinnabar and there should be the trainer u first talked to.(in our case, Giovanni.) get him/her down to little life then attempt to catch it.
Togepy:
All you do is use the item finder in Mt. moon 100 times (make sure that it is all in different places, or it doesn't work) and on the 101 time it will respond. when you find the item it will be an egg. after you play long enough the egg will hatch and presto! you have a Togepy!
Pikablu:
You have to find the bottle first. The bottle is in the waters somewhere. It changes for each quest of the game. The ones that I have heard are Cerulean Water, Cerulean Gym, Power Plant water, I found it under the Waters of Unknown Dungeon. You will get it when you TELEPORT back to the Cerulean City Pokemon Center. Once you teleport back it will say that you found a bottle! After you find it go to the items and select it. It should give you a message on where Pikablu EXACTLY is. On mine it says the middle of the waters of Seafoam Islands. I went there and teleported and I found pikablu. For somereason I did not teleport back but I got him. Then I moved to the right and it telported and I found a mist stone. Some people say they found it by battling it. I don't know why maybe when they surfed to that spot a battle may have actifated it. Or maybe it was a cable link fight. I don't know.
The Pokemon Factory:
To get to the factory beat the Elite Four 30 times without talking to anyone in between exept the indigo plateau Nurse Joy to heal your pokemon On the 30th time proffesor oak will say "I getting tired of this. Just explore a little." He will let you walk around the hall of fame room. There are pictures on the walls and a door on the far side. Go in the door and it will take you to a new city. In the city is the pokemon factory and people that will trade you pokegods for other pokemon! PIKABLU TO GET PIKABLU ANYTIME GO TO ROCKET GAME CORNER AND GO WHERE GIOVANI WAS. TALK TO BOTH GUARDS AND THEN LEAVE AND BEAT THE ELITE FOUR. AFTER YOU BEAT THEM TALK TO THE GUARDS AGAIN THEN GO AND TALK TO PROFFESOR OAK. HE WILL SAY "GIOVANI WAS LOOKING FOR YOU!" SO GO OUTSIDE AND GO UP TO YOUR ROOM IF GIOVANI ISN'T THERE YET GO CATCH SOME MORE POKEMON THEN GO BACK. WHEN HE IS THERE HE WILL GIVE YOU HM06. THEN GO AND JUMP BEHIND THE SECRET HOUSE IN THE SAFFARI ZONE AND USE ITEM FINDER. IT SHOULD BEEP THEN USE YOUR POKEFLUTE AND PIKABLU WILL APPEAR. TALK TO HIM AND YOU WILL GET IN A BATTLE. I SUGGEST SAVING YOUR MASTERBALL FOR HIM BECAUSE OTHERWISE YOU HAVE TO PARALYZE HIM FREEZE HIM BURN HIM AND PUT HIM TO SLEEP
Chrona- Mew:
Use Mew and Mewtwo to beat the elite four and then give them each the lightning stone (Not Thunderstone!) and they will disappear and in there place will be chrona-mew!
