As I stood in my living room, that night so long ago. I knew without a doubt that without Jesus in my heart, and in my life, I was nothing, and I would always be nothing. My life had no meaning.
I ran back to Jesus. I had been saved nearly seven years before, but I had wandered far, far away. He had not moved, I am the one who wandered away.
Jesus lived on this earth many years ago, he was born in a manger in a stable, lived as a Carpenter's son. His Mother Mary was a virgin. He lived on this earth as a Preacher and a Teacher. He had 12 disciples who followed him.
This is the story of Jesus, the Son Of God. He died on a cross one day a long time ago, to save you and I from sin. God gave His only son for each and every one of us!
I have done the background of this page in purple, because it is the color of Royal Robes. Jesus is the King of Kings. I have done the text yellow to represent gold, the most prescious of metals. Fit for a King!
There are no advertisements on this page. The most important message of this entire site is that Jesus died on the cross to save you and me from sin. If you are reading this, and you are saved, but you have walked away from Jesus for a very long time. It is time to run back home. Don't waste another second. Jesus is waiting for you to come back.
If you have never asked Jesus into your heart. If you really don't have a clue what I'm talking about, let me share some scripture with you. It doesn't matter who you are, or what color you are. God created all of us, He loves us and He wants us to accept the gift of Salvation that was given to us when Jesus died on the cross. He's knocking at the door, won't you open it?
I'm sure you are wondering. How do I know if I am saved? How do I know if I am going to heaven? The Bible promises us that all we have to do is ask, and the gift of eternal life is ours.
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23"
I am a sinner, I was born a sinner. Every person on this earth has sinned. Now, that we admit that to ourselves, we go to the next step.
"For the wages of sin is death...Romans 6:23"
When Eve took the fruit in the garden she had been told she would die. Each of us will face death someday.
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8"
The only way we as sinners would ever have a chance is for Jesus to die on the cross for us, to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. Jesus loves us so much, that even if I was the only person on this earth, or YOU were the only person on the earth. He still would have died for you. Wow, that is awesome!
"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9"
It doesn't matter what you've done, He loves you and will save you. It is not about what you DO to try to gain entrance, you can't work your way to Heaven. But, what you can do, is get down on your knees, ask forgiveness for your sins, and ask Jesus into your life. It is that simple!!!
for "Whoever" will call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
Ask Jesus into your heart today, He is waiting, and softly knocking at the door to your heart. Open it for Him today!
"And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption." Ephesians 4:30
The gift is yours for the asking, and it will never be taken away from you. You never know when your last chance might be, don't waste another day. It doesn't matter who you are, or where you are. Jesus will meet you there, and he died for YOU
Pray this prayer with me. "Dear Jesus, I know I am a sinner. Thank you so much for dying on the cross to save me. Please forgive me for my sins. Please come into my heart and save me now. Amen
What an awesome feeling. I remember it like it was yesterday. He will never leave you or forsake you. I know that at times in my life, I have run so far in the other direction, I thought He couldn't find me. He always knew right where I was. Because He never moved, and He see's all. He loves you so much. I am so glad you took the time today to make this decision, the most important decision of your life.
Now that you have taken this step of faith, you might wonder where everyone else is. Now, it's time to let your fingers do the walking. Open your telephone book, look in "C" in the yellow pages. Look up Christian churches. Start visiting different churches, until you find one you are comfortable with. Let them know you are a new Christian, and you are searching for a church home. You will be surprised at the reception you will get. God's people are everywhere. Make yourself one of them today.
