#330 Tudor Style Tavern: Page 8:

P330

This Tudor style structure will work well from medieval to present but will particularly be a fitting home for your Napoleonic, World War I and II figures. I did a little research on the type of windows and found that casement style windows (hinged along the sides) were most common and can be found as far back as the late 1500s with glass panes.
The walls, roof sections, steps and chimney are all cast in a hard surface polyurethane plastic (shore70. You will find that the detail is far sharper than found on polyfoam products. The crisp field stone foundation, detailed window frames, seperately cast doors and brick chiminey all add to the exceptional visual effect. The floors are 1/4' ply stained walnut. The second floor lifts out so you can easily detail the interior toyour satisfaction. Another advantage over poly foam is that the thickness of these sides are just a fraction of the polyfoam buildings so you do not lose interior space. See the picture links for the interior of the builing. You can easily house 15 sharp shooters on each floor.
The building measures 7”x7.5”by9.5”high and is full 1/32 scale. The figures in the photos are mostly from Hat Industries but even the full figured Conte and TSSD soldiers will look good standing next to the doors. Although we are marketing this building as a tavern, it could be used for varitry of functions.

The urethane castings can best be joined by using super glue with a spray accelerator. Wood pieces can best be attached by using a 2 part epoxy. You can use super glue for the wood sections too if you use enough of it. For painting, coat everything with an enamel primer. Don’t use auto “sandable” primers on detailed surface since it is very thick and will obscure the crispness of the castings. Any compatible hobby paint will work for finish coats. P330-K $45.00
