In the latest installment of the DTFC HOF voting 19 members cast ballots.  With the 75 percent threshold that means a player needed 14 votes in order to be elected.  George Bret and Branch Rickey came the closest to being elected, being listed on 12 ballots apeice.  Two members are facing disciplinary action for blindness, that in fact cost Brett membership when they instead voted for Ron Santo (for shame).

Joe Gordon, Ed Walsh, Mel Allen, and Buck Ewing did not recieve the necessary 10% support and will be dropped from the next ballot.  They will be replaced by: Charlie Finley, Kennesaw Landis, Dizzy Dean, and Bowie Kuhn.
