Tricks, Hints, Tips, and Codes for Wart’s games

Super Mario Brothers 2

Warps

To Coordinate 4-1
This is located in coordinate 1-3. When you finally get to Mouser's
fortress, don't enter. Get a potion and go to the right of his fortress.
See the single jar and the grass patches? (There are two of 'em)
Break the bottle here and enter the subworld. Jump into the jar
and you'll be transported to World 4.

To Coordinate 5-1
Now, if you were smart enough to skip the first warp, good! This
second one in coordinate 3-1 is better. Go to the giant waterfall
and jump down. Fall to the center and you'll
find ground beneath you. Go in the door and down the jar.

To Coordinate 6-1
If you happened to take the portal to Coordinate 4-1, you're in luck!
In coordinate 4-2, there is a portal that takes you to coordinate 6-1! Yeah!
Now, as you reach the grass patch containing the rocket in the ground, jump
down onto that stupid whale below the platform. (Before the rocket, of course)
Be sure you have a magic potion! Now, go to the left until you come to the single
jar. Open up the subworld with the potion, enter the pipe, and voila!

To Coordinate 7-1
Okay, now, If you took the portal to 5-1, good! Get to 5-3 and choose Linguine.
Yeah, Linguine. Now, as soon as you emerge from the ladder, do Linguine's little
girly-jump thing, and get on that platform above you! Break the potion, enter the jar,
go down it in the subworld, and you will find yourself close, VERY close, to me!

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Screen Warp

In order to do a single screen warp,
right as the screen is moving over to
the next screen, press SELECT. (the
button that pulls up the map) You will
now be on the other side of the next
screen. NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS WHEN
THE OBJECT ON THE FARTHEST LEFT OR
RIGHT SIDE OF THE NEXT SCREEN IS
A TREE OR SOMETHING SIMILAR. SOMETIMES
WHEN YOU DO THIS YOU CANNOT MOVE AND
YOU HAVE TO SAVE AND RESTART. HOWEVER,
OCCASIONALLY THE GAME WILL ALLOW YOU TO
JUMP DOWN.

MISSINGNO.'s castle

The MISSINGNO.'s castle code is
not really a cheat. It is actually
a glitch I managed to access on
accident. It is INCREDIBLY
hard to preform, and from what I've
seen, can only be done once.
MISSINGNO.'s castle is unbelieveably
hard to get through, considering
the fact that somethings move
and hurt you even though they shouldn't.
The place is cool though, because you
can walk through objects and some walls.
There are some enemies inside that
don't normally exist, and I am in
there too. (or at least a laser
turret with my face) There are more
enemies in there then in any
place in the game, so I suggest you
go in only if you have full health
and the best weapons you can get.
Now, I'm sure your just dying to
know how to get in, so, I'll tell you.
First of all, get the key from Richard's
Villa that allows you access to the Slime
Temple. Now, go to the gate in front
of the Slime Temple and put the key in
the hole. (press A while standing in
front of the keyhole) As soon as the gate
comes up, DO NOT ENTER THE DUNGEON!
Go down one screen. Now, do the screen warp
up to the next screen. (the Slime Temple)
It's hard, but after a few tries, you'll
get it. Now, you should find yourself on
top of the Slime Temple. Press DOWN on the
keypad. You should jump down and enter
MISSINGNO.'s castle. I think this might only
work if you haven't beaten or entered the Slime
Temple, so don't scream and say "That's stupid"
just because you've all ready have. Start
a new game and work up to there.
Now, this might not work for you, so don't
get all mad, because I told you it probably
wouldn't work from the beginning. I know
this entire thing sounds WAY
too cool to be true, but I promise it worked
for me. If I can manage to get into the
place again, maybe I'll be nice enough
to put up some pictures of it.

How do I get through the WindFish?

Well, if you are a moron like Marion or Loogie,
you wander aimlessly until you find the way
through, or you can do it the easy way, no
catch. First of all, you have to have traded
enough things to get the magnifying glass.
Now, go to the library. (it's southwest
of Madame Meow-meow's house) Read all of the
books. One of them tells you the directions
through the WindFish's egg. (you might want to
have a pen and piece of paper, unless you have
good memory or don't ever plan on going through
the WindFish's egg more than once)

Anyone who is going through the game
will notice sometimes that the prices of
weapons are annoyingly high. In order
to reduce this pain-in-the-butt, you can
do this.

STEALING
A few warnings about stealing.
Well, stealing of course is not
something you want to do in
real life, so why would you want
to do it in a game? Same reason,
of course. No cash paid! Well, this
time you might just want to pay less
rather than the not paying at all!
If you steal, you will ALWAYS be referred
to as "THIEF." Second of all, when you
return to the store, the shop-owner will
say something like "I'm gonna make you
pay for what you stole!" and he zaps
you until you die.
Well, for all you people who still want to
steal regardless of these warnings, here
is how it is done. Go up to the item
you want, and it can be anything of
any price. Now, go up to the cash register
and don't talk to the dude. Start running
around him. Before he manages to turn and
look at you, run out. When you leave the store,
it tells you shouldn't have stolen and it was bad.

DISCOUNT

First of all, there are not real downfalls to
discounting the price, except you still lose
some cash.
To discount the price, grab the item you want
and go up to the clerk. (read all of the following
instructions before preceding, 'cause this takes
fast finger-work) Buy the item. Now, as your Rupies
are going down, press START,SELECT, A, and B
at the same time. Choose "SAVE AND QUIT."
After you start up the game, look at your Rupies.
You won't have lost all of them. Cool, huh?

Soarin' over the open sea

Remember what Marin says she wants
to be able to do? Well, she can get her
wish if you can pull this off. Go through
the entire game without dying. Not even
ONCE. When the ending sequence plays,
at the very end, you'll see Marin. She'll be
flying with sea gull wings.

Super Mario Advance

Reset While Playing:
Press START+SELECT+A+B

Game Suspension:
SELECT+R= Suspend Game
SELECT+L= Resume Game

Delete Saved Data:
Hold all Buttons (L,R,A,B,SELECT,START)
while turning on the power and keep them
held until a screen appears asking whether
or not you want to delete the data.

Free Hearts:
Pick up a big “baddie” and throw him,
but do not kill him.
(Ex.: Pick up a Mega-Shy-Guy and throw him
at the ground, without hitting another enemy
or throwing him off the ledge.)

Tons of Coins, Easy:
Find a magic potion and keep it with you.
Now, wander around the level and find a
place with a lot of veggies in the ground
and chunk the potion. Enter Subspace and
grab the coins. Now do something to make
the potion come back, like going up a vine
or something, and repeat the process as many
times as possible.

Spinner secret:
Got quick reflexes? Better hope you do.
If you didn't notice, the second symbol
on the first spinner is a cherry! (You
know what that means? Extra life!)
