Chili
Fry hamburger meat
(as much as you want)
with salt, a cut up onion,
and cut up bell pepper
until meat is brown
and onion and pepper
is done. Drain
grease off and blot with a paper
towel to remove
most of grease. Put in a
pot and add a can
of "chili ready" tomatoes
(I use Best Buy),
a little chili pepper, as much as
you like and a
can of pinto beans. Add a
little water and
bring to boil,
then simmer for
awhile. Good with
crackers on a cold
day.

Easy
quick potato ideas
Cook med potato in microwave for 4-6 minutes (wash,
pierce with fork and place on a paper towel to cook.)
When done, peel, dice and put butter, salt and pepper
on them. Serve as a quick side dish.
Sweet potato (baked
in microwave)
A sweet potato is excellent cooked in the
microwave.
Wash, pierce with a fork and place on a paper towel.
Cook for 10-15 minutes depending on the size. Cook
until tender. To serve, place on dish and slice into
rings and place butter between the slices.
Salt
to taste. Delicious!

Steak (My way)
I like to just salt and pepper a good steak, sear on
both sides it in a cast iron skillet. Add a cup of hot
water, cover with a lid and leave the burner on high.
Cook until the water is just gone. Turn off burner and
put your just baked microwave potato halves sliced side
down where the steak has been cooked. the heat from the
skillet will brown the potatoes just right. Place the
meat on top while they are browning. Add a salad,
french bread and dessert. Your meal is done and is
delicious!

Pork ideas
Quick Breaded Porkchops
(From freezer to table in a few minutes)
2-4
boneless porkchops (fresh or frozen)
salt, pepper
1 egg mixed with 1/4 c skim milk
Coating;
1/2 c crushed corn flakes mixed with 1/8 c flour
1/8 inch oil in skillett
Cook porkchops in microwave right in the package
until the thin plastic wrap balloons up and the sticker
turns brown. The pink should be gone from the
porkchops. Heat oil in skillet. Pat pork chops dry
with paper towel. Salt and pepper and dip them into
milk and egg mixture ,then in the flour and cornflake
mixture. Fry in hot oil until brown. The porkchops
should be mostly cooked in the microwave. Serve with
stove-top stuffing cooked in the microwave!
Add a salad and dessert. Your meal is done.
Quick and super easy pork chop recipe
(or can use tenderized round steak filets)
Take 2-4 boneless pork chops out of the freezer, put
them in a 2 qt casserole and pour 1 can of cream of
mushroom soup and 1 can of water over them.
Put the lid on and cook in microwave for 30 minutes
or until about half of the liquid is gone. The meat
will be done, tender and the soup makes excellent
gravy as is. Add a vegetable, salad, french bread and
dessert and you are all set for a good feast.
