Bedroom records has long been a major supplier of Canadas indie rock needs, surving the community with other such notable labels like Raisin Bran Records and Robin Hood. Like them Bedroom has pulled themselves away from all that is corporate in the harsh music industry to bring you the hearty 4-track goodness the kidz want and deserve these days. Unfortunately all of our releases to date have been cassette ones, but in the future an El Taco Supreme-felicity syndrome split 7" might be a possibility. Money doesn't grow on trees you know, but if you have one that does you can send it along with your tape submission for the comp.
Bedroom Records started out as Shindig but then when sources revealed that some nerds from Everclear were using the same name we backed away just to avoid all the legal issues that would just run those poor everclear boy's in to the ground. We're sure they don't make that much money anyway....we've seen their videos. Other Bedroom records subsidaries include Phatafro Studios North and South where most if not all of our releases are recorded.
This site is still under major construction and the label itself is only a year or so old. In the future you the loyal bedroom records customer and patron of indie rock arts and so forth can look forward to enjoying a wonderfully stocked jukebox, a gift shop and in the far future a concert hall where live bands will perform in a virtual reality world of fun where free love reigns and everyone will stay young forever!!!!.....the far, far, far future!

Welcome to this fabulous hang out of basement recording gems! Bedroom Records is just getting on it's feet and welcome all bands to send tapes to us in aid of a new CD comp in the works entitled "I Can't Believe It's Not Corporate!". Music styles ranging from indie-pop to hip-hop are welcome for this eclectic jamboree of musical exploration.
