"Bria, are you awake?" Zac whispered. She was, but she didn't want to open her eyes, move, or want this moment to end.
"Yeah." She whispered back. She slowly opened her left eye, closest to Zac. He was propped up on his elbow, looking down at her. She opened her other eye and looked at Taylor. He was on his side, back to Bria, so she scooted a little closer to Zac. "What's up?" She saw worry and concern in his sweet brown eyes, and her heart melted a little.
"First, I wanted to tell you, that I give you serious sexual props for last night. Never would I have thought I'd have a threesome with my brother. I always pictured it being me and two girls." He gave a half smile, but it didn't reach his eyes. "And I know we were a little drunk, but to be able to pull that off..." he shook his head and looked down for a minute. When he finally raised his eyes back to hers again, he continued. "We both know about how it went back home." He sighed. "At least I was able to one up Tay." He gave another half smile. "But what I wanted was, was to know if you were going to-"
"Zac." She cut him off. "Last night-" she paused, and chose her words carefully. "Last night, you were amazing." She smiled at him. "I didn't want to cause any more tension than ther already was. Lily will be home tonight, and I saw the way Taylor looked at her. I was thinking I could pawn Taylor off on her, and it can be just us." He nodded.
"But for how long?"
"For as long as you want." She smiled and caressed his face. "Honestly Zac, I started falling for you the first time I saw you." What she didn't add, was that that had been ten years before. "Looking down at me after I'd fallen out of the car. You were so sweet. And hot." She smiled, relieved some of the worry had came out of his eyes.
"I still can't believe you think I'm hot." He shook his head and smiled, genuinely.
"Well, you'd better. I want us to be together, Zac. Nothing would make me happier."
"Really?" He searched her eyes. When she smiled and nodded, he did the same. "Good. Because I want that too." Bria couldn't help but grin. This was the best 24 hours of her life.
"So we're officially off the market?" Zac laughed.
"Yeah."
"Please kiss me now." She smiled up at him. He did as she asked, and Taylor began to stir. Zac and Bria parted, still, waiting to see if he would wake up or not. When he just mumbled something, Bria turned back to Zac. "So I have something to confess to you." Zac raised his eyebrow. "Remember last night, when you saw Justin Timberlake in the elevator?"
"Ah, yeah?"
"He had come by our place. Lily had given him our address because he frequents the club Lily works at, and I had been there one night while he'd been there. Basically, long story short, I think you're way better looking than him, and I like you more."
"Wait. Wait. Let me get this straight. If I read between the lines correctly, you chose me over him?"
"Lily couldn't believe it. She thought I was crazy."
"You chose me over Justin Timberlake, the guy every girl would commit suicide for?"
"Psh. I wouldn't. He's not that hot." Zac laughed and shook his head.
"Wow." He pulled her close in a tight hug. "But will you be able to resist the temptations of my older brother?"
"Of course. He may be hotter than Justin too, but definitely. Besides. I think he'd tire of me sooner than later anyway."
"He is a bit of a player."
"I cought onto that."
