Chapter Fifteen
"You guys amaze me. Lenora hasn't smiled for two days." Dane informed them.
"Is she taking this hard?" Tay asked.
"I don't know. It's that actress thing."
"Oh."
"You guys are Hanson, huh?"
"Yeah."
"I like your music."
"Really?" Zac asked."
"Uh-hu."
"Does Lenora like our music?"
"I don't know. She doesn't have much time to listen to music, let alone talk about it."
"Oh." Zac sighed.
"Here she comes."
"Hey guys. What's up?"
"Nothin'." They answered.
"Sounds like fun." They nodded. "So where are you three from?"
"Tulsa, Oklahoma." Ike told me.
"Wow. Did you come all the way from Tulsa to come to my mother's funeral?"
"Yes." They replied.
"Oh my God you guys are so sweet!" I wrapped my arms around Zac and gave him a tight hug. I went to Tay next and gave him a strong hug. I gave one to Ike also. I glanced at my watch. Half an hour left. Devon came over and gave me a hug.
"I have to leave for Chicago."
"Oh. Okay. Well, good bye Devon. Thanks for coming, and the card."
"You're welcome. Call anytime you want to talk or need anything."
"Thanks Devon."
"Bye Lenora."
"Bye. Dane, do you know how many people are left here? Nobody new's come in in a half and hour."
"Only about five."
"Okay. How 'bout we close early and go to my house- when's your flight back to Tulsa?"
"Couple more hours still." Tay said.
"Shall we all go over to my house?"
"Sure." They agreed calmy. Zac was about to jump around and have a fit.
"I'll go tell the people. Be right back." I went and found the head person and told him to close early. Then I went to say a final good bye to my mom. When I returned to the group, they were all ready ready to go.
"Coming Dane?"
"Nope. Not this time. I have to go home."
"Have fun."
"Oh, I will."
"Come on guys. I'll take you to my house." Zac and Tay exchanged huge grins.
"Jake!"
"Yeah?" He came from the dining room.
"I'm going home." I started to pretend I was crying. "I can't stay here any longer." I sobbed. "These three boys are coming over to my house until their flight comes." I suddenly changed to my usual smiley face.
"Okay. Lets go then." We went out to my car and headed to my house.
