Chapter Ten

When I got home, I said good bye and thank you to Dane and his mom, then went to my room to call Devon.
"Hello?"
"Devon. Hi. It's Lenora."
"Hi Lenora. Everything okay?" It was very noisy on his end of the phone.
"No. Is the party still going? I'm sorry I had leave so soon."
"It's alright. What happened?"
"Oh, my mom was in a car accident. She was sont to the hospital, which was where she was when they called. I arrived at the hispital and my mom was in a coma. I said the I love you thing, and she woke up, said keep on going, I love you forever, then she died."
"I'm so sorry Lenora."
"Yeah. I wanted to tell you so you wouldn't worry anymore."
"Well, thanks. Call me if you ever want to talk."
"Thanks Devon."
"Take care."
"I will."
"Bye."
"Bye." I layed on my bed and staired at the ceiling.
