Some palmcorders esp. 8mm and other miniaturized items may not be in-house serviceable due to nature of construction, if so customer will be referred to a factory service center if possible. However in such cases deposit will be retained for diagnostic and research time.

The Bench Fee Deposit applies to each item brought in for repair. If the estimate for repairs is accepted the deposit will be deducted from the total repair bill. Otherwise the deposit will be retained to cover diagnostic & research time and will not be refunded.

Due to the complexity of modern electronic equipment, we do require a bench fee deposit before we can start diagnosis and repairs on your products. The deposit is based on the average value of the equipment and may vary depending on the type of equipment involved.
