When FPPVW began, it was started by Jon Z, who was a college student with absolutely no money. He had trained several wrestlers, and many of them were at the point where they no longer sucked. Thus Jon decided to hold his first event, Premiere Showcase, for a company he called Future Pay-Per-View Wrestling.
Background
Premiere Showcase was the inaugural event for FPPVW. It took place in Ronin Fox's parents' backyard on May 25, 2003. The event was seen locally on DATV and never aired again due to how unprofessionally it was put together.
