Shattered Dreams
Shattered Dreams,
They come to me,
From midnight skies,
dark and dreary,
and all alone,
I feel that I have shown,
into evil itself,
Make disappear all my fantasies,
And come true to life,
My unhappiness at ease,
That I have become,
Too know so well,
I have learned through shattered dreams,
That my love no longer beams,
Down upon the ones I have become to care most for,
For my love out it's gone,
never no more to be see,
So lost and afraid,
And all alone,
Shattered dreams,
I have become to know,
That I will no longer see,
That the once vibrant person,
I used to be,
Shattered dreams,
They take over,
Make all of my sunny days disappear,
Seem as black as the hole deep into my soul,
So in its wake,
I shall take these shattered dreams,
And make my last days ,
Full of love and happiness,
Not so sad from all the loneliness,
For to no longer see shattered dreams,
New dreams will approach,
And comes with that, A new life and love for me,
From the skies above,
They descend down upon me,
No longer shattered dreams.
