CHILDREN
I hear their laughter,
I see their sorrows,
I smell their fears,
Of no tomorrows
Children,
Standing in the rain,
Children,
Crying out in vain,
Save us,
Can't you see,
We are in hell,
This place for us not to be,
The homeless streets,
The forgotten dreams,
children
here and gone,
Sleeping on park benches of beds,
Streets that have led,
Down the narrow road to destruction,
Leaving in their wake,
No brighter tomorrows
Help the homeless children
I say to thee,
Give them a life indeed,
That they so desperately need,
For after all they are our future,
All our hopes and dreams,
Not one child but all the children,
Can't you see...

The little girl in the picture
above is my daughter Kayla.
Like Kayla I want all
children to be safe,
warm and out of harms way.
But I can't do it alone,
none of us can do it alone.
But together we can make this world
a better place for all our children.
Don't you agree??
