History: The Flarers' Fabric Bee started out as a group of crafters on the alt.support.arthritis newsgroup who got together to make a quilt. This "Year 2000" quilt is to be donated to raise money for arthritis research. Out of that original idea came this web site.

This site still has a long way to go. Eventually we hope to provide "coping" ideas for challenged crafters, links to sites where the reader may order crafting supplies over the internet, and a forum for buying, selling and trading craft supplies.
