The 44th Annual Grammy Awards will be announced in Los Angeles on February 27, 2002. The event will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network

Destiny's Child "8 Days of Christmas" has been certified GOLD by the RIAA as of
December 3, 2001.
DC #1 in UK
Destiny's Child confirmed its international stature as the
hottest thing in crossover R&B with another new entry at No. 1 in the U.K. on April
22nd.
Nickolodeon Kids' Choice Awards
Destiny's Child were winners at Nickelodeon's 14th Annual Kids'
Choice Awards, which were broadcast live from California on April 21. Destiny's Child
performed and were voted Favorite Singing Group. Nickelodeon says that more than 15
million participated in the voting.
Blockbuster Entertainment Awards
Destiny's Child won in two categories at this year's Blockbuster
Entertainment Awards, which were chosen by about 20 million votes cast in video stores or
online. They were were named Favorite Group of the Year and Favorite R&B
Group. The awards, given out at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, are being
televised this year in 50 different countries.
