families of Sarah C. Leonard (house 817), and Martha Leonard (house 818). Martha
Leonard is Richard's widowed mother. Sarah C. is probably Richards widowed
sister in law. Richard is also named on the census as the Ex. of Est. of James
Leonard, his father, with an estate valued at $18000, and $69870.00. Richard H.
Leonard is also listed on the census as the guardian for Harriet Boon, no age,
with an estate of $1750. In house 819, we find the family of Alexander K.
Leonard, probably an uncle of Richard, and brother to James P., deceased.
