Rock on.
Music (click to read my thoughts in depth), as I've said before, has always been a huge, huge part of my life. Music IS my life. I would die without it, I'm not kidding. So, I'm going to list off some of my favorite bands/ musicians/ musical influences. I try not to limit myself to a certain kind of music, but like everyone, I do have preferences. Here we go. (these are in no particular order...That would be too hard

AFI, Bouncing Souls, Weezer, Jimi Hendrix, Something Said, Rush, Exhibit A (The awesome band of Travis - a good friend of mine. Please check out their site! They deserve your support! Banner @ the bottom!), Foo Fighters, Farin Urlaub, The Damned, The Vandals, TSOL, Rufio, Bodyjar, Die Toten Hosen, Son of Sam, GOB, Deviates, downset, Minor Threat, TINC, Strife, Tiger Army, VNV Nation, Apoptygma Berzerk, Bauhaus, Lennon Murphy, Joy Division, Millencolin, 98 Mute, Reverie, The Corporates, Stavesacre, Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, Echt, Smashing Pumpkins, Hives, Dropkick Murphys, Snapcase, Phil Collins, VAST, Beck, Pennywise, Rancid, Jethro Tull, Blues Traveler...many more to be added later. Tired of typing...
My Favorite Albums: everything by
AFI, because they are officially the greatest band in existance, but esp. The Art Of Drowning, - great slower songs that showcase Davey's awesome voice/ great lyrics.
Something Said- Etat d'esprit-I love the transition SS has made from 1999. It's amazing
Weezer - Pinkerton- the others are good, but Pinkerton is still, in my opinion, the best Album Weezer has put out.
Jimi Hendrix- Are you Experienced?- there is no such thing as a bad Hendrix album.
Exhibit A - 13 Minutes of Fame- Its the only one they have out right now, so of course it's the best. :-) I'm looking forward to the next one. Definitely!!!!
Pennywise-Land of the Free? - great music, and also a great political commentary.
Son of Sam- Songs From the Earth - This is SOS's only album, but its soo awesome. I love it because it's kind of freaky. (and Davey Havok is the lead singer. Of course!!)
Punkzilla (Nitro Records Compilation) - I love this CD. Every song on it is pretty freaking great. Plus, it has "Dream of Waking" on it, by AFI (of course!), which is normally only found on vinyl - and just happens to be a freaking awesome song. ahh.
I don't know why I'm doing this. I love so many albums...there's no way I could put them all up here!!
