You hear a knock at the door. Devon goes and answers it. It is Isaac and Taylor. They look really happy to see you.
They look so happy to be there. Isaac has his hair down. It’s straighter than yesterday, but it looks really good. He has, to your surprise, a blue T-shirt and a pair of jean shorts. Taylor has his hair long blonde locks down and he has a red T-shirt on and a pair of Khaki shorts.
"Hello. How is your ankle?” Isaac asks you while you are waiting on the elevator.
"It feels really good today. I am advised to take it easy though." And you look at Devon. This makes her laugh.
The guys let you and Devon get inside and then they stand beside you. Isaac bumps your right hand with is left and you grab hold of his hand. It feels so good to be standing there beside him, to feel him close to you. You kind of give yourself a little smile. The elevator doors open on the ground level and you step out, still holding Isaac's hand. He opens the door for you, as Taylor does for Devon. Then both the guys open the car doors for you and Devon. Unfortunetly you have to let go of Isaac's hand. Taylor has already climbed in and Isaac is walking around the front of the car. Then he gets in and turns the car on. “Unchained Melody" by the Righteous Brothers blasts out of the speakers. You see Isaac's face turn a little red as you reaches for the c.d. player to turn it off. You quickly grab his hand before it can reach the eject button and tell him it's okay. It just so happens that "Unchained Melody" is one of your favorite songs.
Isaac asks you where you want to go lunch. And you have no idea. Especially since you have only been in Tulsa for one day. Taylor jokingly picks Mc Donald’s. But everyone agrees. Mc Donald's it is.
Isaac pulls in and gets a spot right by the door. You all get in and look around. Tons and tons of screaming toddlers are in there. Must be a birthday party. You think to yourself. You know the toddlers probably wouldn't bother the guys so you just try and ignore all the noise. After you have ordered your food, you go and sit on the other side of the restaurant. It is pretty quiet on that half.
You all have cheeseburgers, fries and coke’s. Lunch goes by fast. No one hardly speaks a word to each other. Isaac is sitting across from you and you notice he keeps his eyes on you. Watching your every move. It makes you the slightest bit uncomfortable, but you don't let him know that.
Everyone is finished eating so you quickly leave. You have no idea what you are doing now.
"Do you want to go back to our house and listen to music or watch TV or something?" Taylor asks the two of you.
"Sounds great," Devon tells him, without even consulting You. But you don't mind. You would do anything, go anywhere, to be with Isaac.
So with that, Isaac drives back to the Hanson household and you are wondering just how many people will be there. Maybe you'll get to meet the whole family. And with that thought, Isaac pulls into the driveway.
