Slantbox ...an alternative and classic rock band. The group was formed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in the fall of 1998. The four original band members were all active duty Air Force, with a wide variety of musical backgrounds and experiences. Since the beginning, they have added a school teacher to the mix and replaced one active duty member.

Lead vocals and guitar fills are handled by the raspy-voiced
Steve Chapman -- a man with amazing vocal range and emotion. Garren Warwick manages the percussion department, along with lead and backup vocals, and occasional guitar licks. “Energy” is this guy’s middle name! But keep an eye on the newest member, Patrick Cox. You will be on the edge of your seat watching to see what he will do next while shreading out killer leads. Philip Salucci rounds out the group on bass and backup vocals. You’ll love his “get down and get funky in your face” approach to the bass guitar.
