These are all of the other people who went on the charter, from left to right:
My brother Naldo.
Doug, a friend of Walt's. This was the first time I met him.
Mark Jr., son of the Captain and Mate for this trip.
Walt Gunter, a very cool guy I met at The
Fishing Network.
Mark Livengood, the Captain for this trip, whose skill and
expertise in the rough waters kept us constantly in action!
The boat is a beautiful 27' SportCraft 270, with a 10' beam and inboard V8 powerplant. We were in 3'-5' rollers all day, though it may not look like it; this nice heavy boat rode it out pretty good, we thought.
Here is the Mate, Mark Jr., holding one of the nicer 'eyes we got that day. Mark Jr. worked his tail off that day, what with all the rough water and 9 lines in the water!
Beside him is Doug, who just had the thrill of reeling that fish in!
Here's a "double header" going into the cooler! By the end of the day, this cooler would be so full of fish we literally had to hold the lid shut to keep them from flipping out onto the floor!
